Christmas 2016

Forgot to take a picture during our meal but got a cute one by the snacks

Adam was up early and lay next to our bed until around 7:00.  Soon Eli was awake and they played with their new toys while waiting for Jacob to wake up. We had our coffee and banana bread.  Jacob woke up and sat on my lap and then Daddy's lap for a little while. The boys opened stockings which had m&m's, gum, gummy lifesavers, pez, nerf darts, toothbrushes, transformer ornaments, a light up toy, giant size candy bars, and glitter glue tubes.  Jacob opened his favorite reese's peanut butter and said, "Oh my, I'm gonna eat this right away!" Adam is going to use the glitter glue to decorate his airplanes. Eli was super excited about his toothbrush and said, "awe, just what I've always wanted!" Eli opened his pez dispenser and said, "I will devour this in like 1 second!"  Then we took turns opening presents.  The boys each got heated blankets, books, and some lego sets. They also got the Wall-e movie which Adam has been asking for. Jacob was super excited to get an xl lego engine and lego led lights.  He also was super happy that his legos were technic sets. Daddy got m&m's and SAE and metric locking hex key sets.  Together Jared and I got a dremel set.  It came in the mail earlier this week and the boys wrapped it for us. I also got bread bag clips, an electric can opener, wooden spoons, keurig pods, and measuring spoons. The boys spent the next several hours putting together their new lego sets. We listened to Christmas music and had fun watching the boys put together their sets.  Nana and Papa came around 2:00 and joined us for our Christmas meal.  We visited while the boys played with legos.  Papa brought over a hoop hat that Jack had gotten him and the boys had fun trying to get balls in it.  Then Papa took a nap and the rest of us had fun playing pictionary.  This evening we watched the movie Wall-e.  Jacob and I started feeling very sick this evening. And Adam got sick later too.
