Eli is showing me the face the fish made at him when he went to the grain elevator with Daddy.
Jacob bottle feeding the triplet
Watching I Love Lucy
This evening we noticed Ewe #616 was lying in the corner and had been pawing. We started checking on her more frequently. Just after tucking the boys in bed we went out to the barn to check on her and noticed a lamb was coming. We sat on some buckets and waited. After a little while Adam came to the barn and said, "I've alway wanted to see a lamb be born!" So he sat on a bucket and waited with us. We waited about 30 minutes but the Ewe wasn't having any progress. I check her and found the lamb's elbows were stuck. I pulled this large lamb and we dragged it to the stall. Soon another lamb was coming. Adam asked if he could video tape it for Jacob. Jacob came out to the barn soon after the second lamb was born. Both lambs were girls weighing 14 lbs 5 oz and 12 lbs 15 oz. The boys had fun watching the lambs take their first steps.
