Reading to Daddy
Truman turns 14 today!
The boys had a half day of school today. We had Parent Teacher conference for them this afternoon. Our first meeting was with Eli's teacher and she said that Eli is doing very well. He does struggles to recognize his letter and sounds but is reading at a level 1. Then we headed to Adam's appointment. Adam's teacher says he is a very quiet boy and seems to be a math whiz. He does get distracted easily with little things in his desk so we cleaned some thing out from there. Next we walked over to the middle school for Jacob's conferences. All of Jacob's teachers had really good things to say. Jacob was sitting there smiling so big and was really proud of himself. Mrs Hoffman (social studies teacher) had Jacob tell us about what they've been learning and Jacob had a lot to say. She said, "So you can see he's been listening." She said he gets along great with the students and the adults. The teachers also say that Jacob is using the Academic support center when needed.
