Walking back with this sweet boy!
Adam woke up with us this morning but stayed in his bed for awhile. Grandma came to sit with us and we did some knitting. Then Adam and I went for a bike ride. After breakfast Jacob went fishing. We took a walk and stopped at the dock to check on him. Adam had found a fishing swivel and wanted to give it to Jacob. Jacob had just lost his lucky bobber in the water and we helped him get it. We stayed for awhile and got to see Jacob catch a fish. He was pretty excited! Back at camp I made hot chocolate for the boys. Jared work on splitting wood. The boys played in the woods by the lake. We keep a tote in our dining fly with bug spray, first aide kit, batteries, ponchos and several other things. Well the aerosol bug spray can got turned on by the lid and emptied all over the things in the tote. It was such a mess and ruined Jacob's poncho. This afternoon we headed to Eagle River. It was high 70 degrees and sunny. We spent a couple hours on the beach and had lots of fun. We helped Jacob build "Jacob's Hoover dam" and Adam worked on another dam. Eli had fun playing in his "little pool". Norman liked being off his leash and fetching sticks. The boys also had fun swimming in the lake. We got back to camp around 5pm and started making pizza's for dinner. The boys played across the road while we were getting dinner ready. After dinner the boys dried and put away dishes. They say they have a system, Adam dries and the other two put away. This evening we went fishing at the dock. Jacob was so excited to have Eli fishing too. He really wants him to love it so he has a fishing buddy. It was really windy and cold on the dock. It looked like rain so we headed back to camp. Jared rode Adam's bike with Adam riding on the pegs. Then Adam jumped off and decided to walk with me. I was carrying the three fishing poles but Adam took them from me and carried them back. Jacob got back to camp first and worked on putting chairs away for the rain. The boys went in the tent to read. We went to bed early tonight and had some extra time to read. It was 9:30 and we finished reading Huckleberry Finn.

Whew! It is hard work going backwards to start at the earliest post where I left off the day before.
It sounds as if there is never a dull moment.
