Kenzie's back!

We got to my parents house around 9am.  Soon after that my sisters and their families arrived. Papa read the Christmas story from the bible while the kids added their piece to the nativity. The kids had drawn names for a gift exchanges and we started with that. Jack and Max got Jacob and Eli some cool True Heroes sets. And Eli got a spiderman projector flashlight. Kenzie got Adam a Ninjago lego set and a True Heroes scuba diver. Then Kenzie had to leave for wrestling practice. The boys helped hand out gifts to everyone and then we opened those starting from youngest to oldest. The boys got some ninjago lego sets and Adam also got a police minifigure set. He was excited about the little dog in his set.  They also got some money from Nana and Papa.  Eli got a really cute lion pillowcase. Nana also got the boys a Bible storybook, Jesus Calling. Also each family got a recordable book (with Nana's voice reading to them) of The Very First Christmas - so special!! I got an awesome trash can with a pet lock on it. No more setting our trash on the counter at night so Norman stays out of it. Or worse forgetting to set it on the counter! I also got some nice gloves, a Tim Horton's gift card, a knitted dishcloth, and a fragrance plug in. Jared got some gift cards to Home Depot. Jacob and Adam were excited to give their gifts from Secret Santa to Papa and Nana. Jacob got them an ice fishing tool and a flower holder. And Adam picked out a cute ruler and a glowstick. When Kenzie got back we watched her open her gifts. She showed Uncle Jared some wrestling moves. The food was all so delicious - Thank you Mom!! After eating the boys took their lego sets to the basement and spent the rest of their time building those. We helped Eli build his and he also had fun playing with his buddy, Jack. We left around 5:00 and headed to church for the Christmas Eve service. The boys got to play bells for this service and they did great! Nana and Papa came too! Jacob had given Eli a quarter and he held it up proudly as he shook his bell. At home the boys got out their True Heroes sets to play with until bedtime.
