Jacob had a lot of catching up to do today because his reading book had to be back tomorrow. When he got home from school he had a math subtraction paper to do. This took him a long time with lots of tears. Then he had to read his vocabulary sentences to me. He did his 15 min reading with Daddy and then worked on the reading response sentences he had to write for each story. He only stopped to eat dinner. I felt bad for him so we let him stay up a little past his bedtime He asked if we could play Candyland. He played games with me and then with Daddy. Jacob doesn't usually like playing games. He was so much fun to play with this evening. When I won he was giving me high fives. When he moved to the ice cream cone and then won he had his hand in the air as he cheered. Then he watched something in the office with Daddy while I did my boxing exercise.
