Time for cake!

Today we get to celebrate Jared 40th birthday! Eli woke up just before Daddy had to leave for work. Adam was camped out on the floor in our room where he often ends up during the night. I made pancakes for breakfast and we ate by the candles at the table. After taking the boys to school Eli and I headed to Tim Hortons for drinks and donuts. Then we took a Mocha and donuts to Daddy at his work. We stopped at the store for a few things before heading home. I did my exercises and Eli played in the boxes. Jared got home from work around 2pm. My parents gave him a rc helicopter for his birthday and he hurried to get that charging. Then he opened a beautiful raku snowy owl from his parents. He got some good laughs from their funny cards. Eli took a nap. Jared and I gave each other our Valentines gifts. Jared wrote me a sweet poem in the card he'd made for me. He had knitted me some slippers and also got me some rubbermade storage containers. Eli wanted to hide with Daddy under a blanket as they sat on the bean bag chair. He thought it was so funny every time I came to find them. Daddy went down to get the boys off the bus. They were excited to show us all their valentine cards and goodies from class. Then they opened their valentines from us. They each got a some candy, gum, a spinbrush, and chapstick. They had fun decorating their spinbrush with the stickers that came with them. Then Jared opened his Birthday gifts from us. He some rope, a shepherd's crook, coveralls and a hat. We drove to Pi's to bring home Chinese food for dinner. We also stopped at Pizza Hut for Jacob's Personal pizza which he gets from school for reading. At home we put a pizza in the oven. We watched 101 Dalmations while eating dinner. After dinner we lit the candles on the cake and sang to Daddy. Jacob wanted to do "a toast" to Daddy with their pops bottles. After the boys were in bed Jared and I watched I Love Lucy.
