Happy 4th of July!
It was a hot day outside (102 degrees). The boys spent much of the day playing with legos.
This evening we lost power. We went into town to get coffee from Tim Hortons. We were going to have a sleepout so the boys watched a movie (Spirit) in the van while we drove around. It was dark when we got home and the boys were really excited to do sparklers. We still didn't have power so we lite some candles in the house. The boys really enjoyed doing sparklers. Eli loved it too until he touch the hot part on the sparkler after it was done. Then when asked if he wanted to do one he'd cross his arms and say, "No thank-you!" We got a stick to put them on and he liked doing it that way. Jared started the generator and we plugged in the fan and watched Toy Story 3.

Love the red/white/blue shorts with the white tank tops. Cute! The stick was a good idea for the sparklers. Hailey didn't really like holding them either.
How fun! Loved seeing these pictures!
