4-28-11

Eli loves his oatmeal in the mornings. I had to tighten the buckle on his table chair again. He squirms out and looks at me with a funny expression on his face as he’s stands there in the chair which is attatched to our counter. We watched Busytown mysteries. During the show they had a whistling teapot and Adam asked if we could make hot chocolate using our teapot. He waited patiently for it to whistle. Eli is still not walking much. He will take a few steps to something close by. I got out the peapod travel bed for Eli to nap in. First Eli and Adam had fun playing in it. They were making silly faces by the screen. After tucking Eli in bed Adam and I played with Lincoln logs. Then Adam played at the counter with moon dough and then moon sand while I exercised. Eli woke up just after lunch. We played more with the Lincoln logs. Then we cuddled on the couch and I read some books to the boys. Adam and I played I spy a color. While in the car waiting for Jacob Adam and I played heads or tails with a quarter. He thought that was so fun. Nana and Papa came over to visit. The boys watched Busytown Mysteries. Eli napped until dinnertime. Jacob’s coach called to say practice was canceled because of standing water in the field.  Jacob asked if there were any dams around our area so we decided to head over to a nearby one after dinner. When we got back in the car, after seeing the flooding and dam, Jacob said, “That was awesome!” It was bedtime when we got home.
