Daddy said, "I bet you can't touch my nose."

Eli's grown over an inch since he was measured last.

I worked on catching up on my blog today. This afternoon I went to town.  I stopped at Home Depot to get an outdoor 3 way plug adapter.  We didn't have enough plugs to plug in the rams electric fence and both water tanks.  I also went to old navy and Meijer.  After school we played some Minecraft.  Jacob quit playing after a couple games because he had an essay to work on.  He worked on it the rest of the evening and quit at around midnight.  Jared and I went out to the barn to fill the hay feeders and make sure the animals were all set before our trip.  My mom will be checking on them every day while we are gone.  Thank you Mom!!  Adam and Eli played with legos for awhile and then we played some more Minecraft.

11/21/21

Jared and I unloaded the kiln this morning.  After church Jared dropped me off at Meijer for groceries. He took Jacob home to work on his homework.  Jared stopped at TSC to pick up a heater for the horses tank.  At home we put away groceries and then had pizza and watched an A-team.  This afternoon I set up the card table on the back deck and took pictures of all the pottery.  Jared got the tanks all set with heaters so they don't freeze this winter.  This afternoon we played some Minecraft bedwars with the boys.  Then we went out with Eli to see his horse.  He brushed him and cleaned out his hooves.  We walked him around in the paddock.  Jared had set a snare trap for the fox so we checked that.  This evening we watched tv and had popcorn pop and ice cream.  I measured all the pottery that's going to be posted on Etsy.  Then we labeled the pottery that's going to be taken to the shop in town.  It started raining really hard and was very windy.  Eli wanted to bring Bo into his stall so we went out to get him.  He was dry and standing in his lean too.  Eli put him in his stall and gave him some treats and some hay.

Eli's socks after a day of running around.  He doesn't want to throw them away!

The boys slept in until around 8:00.  Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  The line at Tim Horton's was really long.  There was a parade going on it town today.  The vehicle in front of him paid for our order!  Jared was driving the Honda Civic which has really bad cup holders and my whole cappuccino spilled in his car.  He went back through the line to get another one.  And again someone paid for our order!  We got to Nana and Papa's around 11:00.   Vikki and her family were there. Today we are celebrating Thanksgiving with family.  My mom puts so much work into making this day so special for all of us!  This year she even had the mashed potatoes made ahead of time.  Thats usually Jared and my job.  There were lots of snacks on the table and we all had a nice time together.  Soon Stacie and her family arrived.  Then came Chuck and Sue,  Kenzie and Travis and Hailey.  We ate at around 1:00.  The food was all so yummy!  Thank you Mom!!  Jacob and Adam had fun picking on Hailey.  They got her phone from her several times and disabled it. Eli, Peyton, Isaac and Kody had fun playing in the basement.  They went outside for awhile too.  We had yummy pie and ice cream for desert. Mom made chocolate and banana cream and I made an apple pie.  Mom, Vikki, Jared and I played 3-13 and Mom won.  I had the high score.  On one round I got 84 points!  The boys helped moved around furniture to make space for the Christmas tree.  They also brought up the tree from the basement.  We got home around 8:30 and played some minecreaft with the boys before bed.

Adam still wasn't feeling good this morning so he stayed home again today.  I took Eli to school and then stopped at the dollar store for ziplock bags and went to the post office.   Jacob was awake and working on homework when I got home. Adam was in a zoom meeting.  I got a batch of rolls started in the bread machine.   Jacob had to be to school by 12:30.  I had to go back to the dollar store for some oil.  Today I cut up apples to put in the freezer and used some to make an apple pie.  Adam was feeling much better this afternoon and only had a little headache.  After school I took Jacob and Adam to the barber to get a haircut. We played some bedwars with the boys before bed.

We unloaded the kiln this morning.  Today I worked on smoothing the bottoms of the new pots.  This afternoon I glazed pots.  Adam still was complaining that he felt horrible this morning so he stayed home and did school online.  Our new neighbor came over today to introduce himself.  His family just moved into Nik's old house. They have a son in Eli's grade and a 1 year old daughter.  They have a few horses and are planning to clear their woods and make it into paddock for the horses. Their son Braydon came over after school.  He and Eli walked around outside for awhile.  Jared glazed pots this evening.  Mom brought over a covid rapid test and Adam tested negative for covid.

Eli and I went out this morning to take care of the animals.  Then Eli wanted to go check out the fox's den.  There were some new tracks going into the den.  Adam still isn't feeling well so he stayed home from school today.  I trimmed mugs and added handles.  Adam and I played a game of bedwars when he had some free time.  We ordered Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner because today they are donating a percentage to Meridian's band.  Jacob went to youth group this evening.  We played minecraft with the boys.

Fox's den

Adam stayed home from school again today. He is still not feeling well. This evening Eli had his first horseback riding lesson. Its was at the farm where Jared and I met.  The lady teaching the lessons was so busy that she hardly was in the arena the whole hour.  She kept saying its isn't usually like this.  Eli still had fun riding the horse around and trotting him in the arena.  The lady's daughter did help him some.  After the lesson we walked over to see Sammy and Nutmeg's old stalls and our tack room.  It was fun to see the place again.
