It was a really busy day at work today. Eli saw me when I was getting the lunch counts and said, 'I'm so excited about GA tomorrow!" At home I worked on packing for our trip. I cleaned and packed the van. We filled hay feeders and water tanks. Our neighbor Jim is going to check on the animals while we are gone. Wyatt is going to be staying with Vikki. We are going to really miss our puppy!

We were in the nursery for second service. Stopped for groceries and picked up pizza for lunch. Jared also took the boys to the library for books and dvd. We watched Andy Griffith during lunch. Jacob helped Jared and I cut up apples for our GA trip. The boys did a lot of reading this afternoon. Jacob, Eli and I played a game of tonk. We watched Andy Griffith while having popcorn, pop, and ice cream.

Lucky showing off his tricks - Wyatt has some competition!
We stopped for our Sat goodies on our way to my parent's house. There was a parade going on today so it was busy in town. Today we are celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. My mom works so hard to make today special - Thank you Mom!!! We got there around 10:00 and Mom and I finished some last minute things on her list. After awhile my sisters and their families, Kenzie and Travis, and Chuck and Sue arrived. The food was all so yummy!!! We were all stuffed so we visited for awhile before eating desert. We had pies, ice cream and Pumpkin bread for desert. After Chuck and Sue left we played a game of 3-13. Vikki won by a lot! It was a great day together with family!! We have a lot to be Thankful for!!!

Adam woke up early and we checked to see if school was canceled but it wasn’t yet. Jared said the roads were bad so we should leave early. At work I got the preschool's fruits/veggies ready to go. We make the preschool's food and a driver takes it there. We had a bunch of kids come late for breakfast because a couple buses went in the ditch. The phones were down this morning for awhile. I worked on our fruits/veggies for our kids. Then I went to the computer to start entering all the breakfast kids. I was on the second or third class when we lost power. My coworker screamed and I jumped and ripped my paper. I couldn’t enter the breakfast counts so I decided to start my rounds to get a lunch count and drop off lunch cards. The kids were all excited because of the power outage as I went around to the classrooms. There was no estimate on the power coming on so we turned off the warmers and ovens and got out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cereal. They ended up canceling for the rest of the day and parents could pick up their kids any time after 11:30. The school was still open until 3:00. We still served three lunches but the last lunch had a lot less kids. I picked the boys up at 1:30. They were all super excited and said it was a really fun day. They were playing games with the few kids left in their classes. We still had power at our house. I made a couple apple pies and some dough for rolls. Adam and Eli had fun building a fort in the snow. Jacob helped me finish decorating the tree because we’d missed a box of ornaments. This evening we watched Inspector Gadget 2. Jacob, Jared, and I played 3-13 and Jacob won. He and I were really close at the A round.

Wyatt just before getting shaved.
We all had fun decorating with Christmas lights. The snow really started coming down while we decorated.

Putting up the tree
Hot chocolate
After work I came home and groomed Wyatt. He got a bath, blow dried and shaved. Then I gave him another bath. It started snowing this afternoons and continued until midnight. After dinner we put up lights outside and set up the tree. Adam and Jacob prayed for a snow day tomorrow. Eli prayed that there would be school because tomorrow is Grandparents day.
