11/7/22

When I got home from taking Eli to school I got a text from Jacob saying he forgot something he needed for his astronomy class and needed it.  I headed there to take it to him. Then I stopped at Home Depot.  Talked to Vikki while I walked around there.  Got some paint for Wli’s room. At home I worked on clearing out Eli's bedroom.  I finished that and then it was time to pick up the boys from school.  I worked on trimming in Eli's room and he did the roller painting.  He was so excited.  Jared stopped to picked up a used fish aquarium and a bunch of fish supplies for only $10. Then he and Adam left to got pick up a used bed for Adam.  Adam really doesn't want to sleep up high anymore.  Eli has really wanted a loft bed and is excited to get Adam's old bed.  We put two coats of paint on Eli's room.  Jared took apart the loft bed and put it back up in Eli's room. Adam emptied his bedroom and cleaned it really good.  The new bed barely fit and we had to take off the trim to fit it.  It has a couple big drawers under the bed so Adam is getting rid of his dresser.  We were very busy until about 11pm.  Then we decided to finish tomorrow. We also cleaned and changed fish tanks.  Jacob found out he's been accepted to CMU!

11/6/22

Eli was up early.  Jacob slept until almost 11:00 and Adam slept until noon!.  He hasn't sleep well all week so we decided to let him sleep in and watch church online.  I went shopping after church.  After a late lunch we played some bedwars with the boys.  Then Jared and I took a walk in the woods.  It be was a nice day outside.  Adam and Jared dug holes for the bee hives stand.  Eli helped me feed the animals.  This evening we watched Star Wars and had popcorn pop and ice cream. 

11/5/22

 Jared went to town for Sat goodies.  We got ready and then cleaned the van.  Left around 11:00 and headed to Nana's house.  Vikki met us there with Adam.  Jared and Adam left to go pick up Claire.  Melissa came over too.  Claire brought the game five crowns and we had a great time playing it.  It's alot like 3-13.  Papa won.  Then we had lunch.  We also played a couple fun games of skipbo.  We played teams with Dad and Vikki, Jared and I, vs Adam and Claire.  Dad and Vikki won.  Then next game was groups of 3 boys vs girls.  The boys team won.  Vikki had gotten a haircut this morning and then also gave Mom and Melissa haircuts.  Jared and Dad played a few games of pingpong.  They were sweating When they finished.   Jared hurt his back.  Dad won two games and Jared won one.  Adam and Claire played and it was 21-9.  Adam won.  Jacob had a lot of math homework and worked on that today. He seemed pretty stressed about it and was tired because he got to bed late last night.  He was happy when it was finished later.  It stormed on our drive home when we dropped off Claire.  It was very windy and there were alot of power outages in Michigan.  We took care of the animals when we got home and then came inside to make dinner.  After dinner we played some bedwars with Adam and Eli.  Then Jared and I played 3-13.  Jared won.

 Jared had to leave at 4:30 am for work in Kendalville IN.  I woke the boys up around 7:00 and made scrambled eggs for breakfast.  We dropped Eli and Jacob off at school and then headed to Saginaw.  We went to Vikki's house.  She made coffee and we sat in her screen room.  We had a nice visit.  She had to leave for work and we headed to Adam's 10:00 dr appointment.  It was just a follow up appointment for Adam's concussion.  He has to be seen every 2 weeks until he sees the neurologist.  Adam failed his PE class so they are going to call the school and see what they can do.  I dropped Adam off at school and he got back before lunch was over.  I went shopping and stayed in town until I had to pick up Adam.  I picked up donuts for the boys.  At home I worked on cleaning the kitchen.  The stove’s window was so dirty you couldn't see through it.  I cleaned it but it wasn't easy to get clean.  Eli helped me make some brownies.  He showed me the music he picked out for youth group next week.  He is playing the music that week.  He picked some great songs.  Took Jacob to his practice with the Midland concert band.  Jared got home around 8pm.  We played some bedwars.

This evening we went to a dinner for the soccer teams. I made chocolate chip cookies to take. 

11/1/22

Took Eli to school and then fed the animals.  Then I worked on finishing the salt pigs.  I made 5 of them into pigs and put knobs on the other 5.  I met Jared at school because we thought we had an IEP meeting for Eli.   Mr Boxey came out and said we were a month early.  Haha.  I did some cleaning in the barn. After dinner we took Jacob to school for a FAFSA financial aid meeting at school.  Mrs Mayer and Andrew sat at a table with us.  Mrs Mayer is teaching Eli's CSI class right now and said he was so helpful today.  They looked at hair under the microscope and the other kids were having a difficult time so Eli helped them.  We played some bedwars with the boys when we got  home.
