10-2-11

Jacob came down to our bedroom this morning holding his new book. After lunch Adam got the Thomas puzzle out and we worked on putting that together. Eli had his shirt off and tried to put it on Daddy. He often drops things into Normans's cage and tried to shove his shirt in there too. Adam and I played yatzee and Jacob and Daddy played Connect 4. Eli napped for a little over 3 hrs this afternoon. While he was napping we went outside to work on our fence. We’re taking down old fence and going to be putting up new with plans on getting sheep to raise. Since not having horses our paddocks have overgrown with thorny brush. Jared worked on taking down fence while I used the loppers to cut down the brush. There is alot to do out there and we will be having lots of boom fires. Jacob and Adam had a great time playing together out there. They put a bunch of sticks against the tree to make a fort. This evening we watched Spy Kids.

Jacob wanted to show me his pose

Boys being silly

We went to Salvation army this morning and Jacob found a book he really wanted. At home he got his wallet so we could go back after the soccer game to buy the book. He's really excited about the book and is sleeping with it tonight.

The boys got to stay with Nana while I went grocery shopping.
Jacob wanted me to take pictures of him by his brothers to show how tall he is.

Rainy day a soccer practice
Jacob's class made a "Who Am I" book, which Jacob got to bring home (they draw names). All of his classmates pictures are in it with a little something they wrote under their picture about what they like. Jacob wrote that he likes licorice. He was really excited to go through the book with me and show me his friends.  Eli said "Amen" after we were done praying for our dinner. Eli loves bugs. This evening he brought me a huge spider and dropped it on the floor, right by where I was sitting.

9-28-11

Eli asked to ride in the tractor cart. He loved it and Jack loved pulling him. They did this for a long time.
It was a nice rainy day.

Warming up with hot chocolate.
Yogurt tongue tatoos
While we were outside Abby (Mel's dog) was barking. Jack called her and then Eli called "Abby!" He also kept telling her to "top(stop)" barking. Adam was excited to sing me the song he learned at school. He also was excited that his job today was to feed the turtles.
