Meridian Homecoming 2022 |
I went shopping this morning to get Jacob some dress shoes. His group he's going with said he needed to have dress shoes. He couldn't go with me because he had too much school work. It wasn't easy to find a place that had his size dress shoes. I sent him some pictures and he picked out a pair. Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies. I had to go back into town to get the boys some dress socks. Jared had to leave at 1:15 to take Eli to his soccer game. His game started at 2:00. I worked on ironing the boys clothes. They got dressed and we took a few pictures. We met Vikki at the rail trail and she rode with us. We dropped Jacob off at his friends house and then headed to Dow Gardens. Adam was there and we got some pictures. He was going with the school Spanish teacher's daughter, Hope. He didn't know that he was going as her date! She bought herself a wrist corsage and him a bootanear and they took lots of pictures together. Other friends were there too. Vikki asked the kids to go near the water for pictures. All the parent were taking pictures without their kids even looking. Vikki walked over to the kids and set them all up and told them to look at one camera at a time. Haha. Braydon's mom asked me who's mom she was and said, "She's great!" Haha, I told her she was my twin and that why I brought her. Hope's mom also ask who she was. We talked with Hope's parents and found out her Dad is Peyton and Isaac's art teacher! We left there and went to the Sanford museum to get a couple pictures of Jacob and his friends. Adam and his group went out to dinner at Mongolian barbecue. Jacob and his friends went to the food court in the mall. Then Vikki and I went out to eat at Big Boy and got hot fudge sundees for desert. I hadn't had one of those in so long. We had alot of fun. We then went to Salvation Army but they were closing in 5 min. We went to Goodwill and Soldans pet store. I found a lamp for Eli and a trash can for Jacob's room. Vikki got Eli a tripod. We took a walk to Joann's and then to Dollar Daze. I saw lots of deer on the drive home. Jared picked the boys up from the dance around 10:30. They had a great time. Jacob was sore from dancing for 3 hrs. I asked Adam if he knew he was going to be Hope's date and he said, "Not at all!" Hope's mom had sent me a bunch of pictures and Adam didn't even want to see any of them. He is looking forward to going to homecoming next weekend with his best friend Claire!
