10/31/22

 Jacob had Delta today.  I threw salt pigs on the wheel.   Picked Adam up on his lunch hour.  He hasn't sleep good the last few days and has woke with a bad headache.  Adam and I worked on cleaning a bunch of branches that were down out by the back of the barn.  We started a little fire.  Then we moved the ewes out of the rams paddock and put Han in with him.  Jared came home from work early so we could carve pumpkins.  Jacob has been too busy with band and school work so we waited to do it together.  Adam and Jacob both didn't want to clean the guts out of their pumpkins So we did that part for them.  I think they all turned out cool. We headed to Melissa and Bruce's house.  Eli was going to dress as Uncle Si but changed his mine when he got there.  He brought his stick and went as the blind guy from Star Wars.  It was a beautiful day to walk around the neighborhood with the kids.  Jacob and Adam didn't want to dress up this year but had fun walking around with us.  When we got back we had yummy chili and sat around the fire and visited.  We got home around 9:30.  The boys played a few bedwars and  I trimmed my pots.

Meridian honars band students

 We watched church online this morning.  Then we played some bedwars with Adam and Eli.  Jacob got ready for Honars band.  They left around 10:45 because he had to be there around noon.  I went to town to get groceries.  Also went to TSC and Kohls.  I had some Kohls cash to use and got a new mixer beater.  Jared picked up pizza for lunch.  Around 3:00 we left for CMU.  The Honars band concert started at 4:00.  Hailey came to watch to concert and we were so happy to have her there with us!  The concert was great!  Jacob had a couple solos in the songs and he did great!   Hailey gave us a great tour of the campus! We had so much fun walking around with her.  The rest of the evening Jacob worked on homework.  We had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched The Three Amigos.  

10/29/22

 Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  We played some bedwars with the boys.  Jared took Jacob to CMU for Honors band rehearsal.  That was from 9:45-5:00 today.  At noon Eli had his last soccer game today which they won 5-2.  He sure had alot of fun.  The team has really improved and learned alot this season.  We got home around 2:00.  Dennis and Marcia Owens came over for a couple hours for a nice visit.  We started a fired and sat by it in the woods.  Eli brought out Bo to meet them.  They left around 4:00 because we had to leave to go pick up Jacob.  Jacob had a great time today but was tired.  He spent the rest of the evening is his room working on school work.
