Playing bedwars

We unloaded and loaded the kiln this morning.  We lost three brown mugs because the kiln ran long (18 hrs!). The brown glaze ran onto the the shelf.  I'm glad we use kiln wash!  It was easy to pop the glaze off the shelf.  I worked on smoothing the bottom of all the new pottery.  It was snowing this morning.   The lambs are so fun to watch as they run around the paddock in a big group.  Some of the spoon rests wobbled a little so I got out the Dremel to fix them.  Wyatt thought I was getting out the clippers.  He tucked his tail and ran to hide behind Jacob's chair.  Haha.  I set up the table on the deck and took pottery pictures.  It was cold and my hands were freezing.  I wore one glove and took it off when I had to hold the mug for the picture.  After school the boys and I stopped at McDonalds.  We had so many coupons so we only had to pay $1.  Adam and Eli got quarter pounder's and Jacob got a crispy chicken sandwich.  We also got a couple fries and a drink.  It was so nice to download Etsy pictures from home and they went on so fast!  Jared helped me get pottery measurements.  We broiled burgers in the oven for dinner.  Jared realized we were low on ketsup so he ran to the dollar general down the road to get some.  I opened the oven to check on the burgers and there was a huge grease fire.  I closed it but opened it several times to try and save the burgers.  I couldn't get them out because the fire was huge when I opened the door.  One of the boys said to throw water on it but I'm glad I knew not to do that.  Soon Jared was home.  He opened the oven door and grabbed the pan with a towel.  He had to set it down because it burned the towel.  He got some new towels and quickly went outside with the burning pan.  The fire got bigger as he walked and I thought things were going to catch on fire.  That was crazy!
