It was a beautiful morning. I took a walk around the yard and worked in the woods for awhile. As I was heading inside I noticed Koala had climbed the tree that the bluebird house in on and she was looking in it. The male and female bluebird were flying around her and she swatted her paw at them. I chased her off the tree and away. I got some chicken fence and put it around the tree. Hopefully it keeps the cats off the tree. Inside I made bowls on the wheel. Jared had an appointment at the Secretary of State to get a license plate for the kayak trailer. He came home from there. We headed to Boelers greenhouse and meet Vikki with Dad's truck. Jared drove the truck and Vikki came in the van with us. We talked to Mel on the phone. We all went in and bought Mom a Cleveland pear tree for Mother's Day. Mel and her family met us at Mom's house. Mom came out and we had fun surprising her with the tree. She was talking about getting one when we were at the Freeland garage sales. I called the greenhouse earlier and they had just one left. I locked the keys in the van so Jared had to used Vikki's car to take Jacob for his Covid test and then went home for the spare set of keys. Jacob dug a hole and we planted the tree. It looks so nice! We sat on the deck and visited. The boys walked around the yard and talked. We got home around 8:00 and ate a late dinner.
