After church we headed to Kenzie and Travis's house. We got to meet their new puppy and then got a tour of the house and the barn. Soon Vikki and Nana and Papa were there. Papa brought his trailer. Nana brought chili (turkey chili for me and Adam too), homemade rolls, pumpkin bread and lots of other goodies for lunch. It was so good!! Thank you Nana!! The guys worked mostly outside. Mom, Vikki, Kenzie and I worked in the rooms upstairs. We scrubbed walls, windows, and closets, pulled baseboards, ripped up linoleum, pulled up the carpet tack strips, spackled walls, and pulled out lots of staples and nails from the floor. We swept and vacuumed. Adam came up to help us. He also pulled staples from the stairs. The boys hauled took out the refrigerator and a heavy glass cabinet. Kenzie ripped out the bathroom cabinets. Jared took down the ceiling fan. Jared and the boys worked outside loading the trailer. Jared had a fire going to burn scrap wood. We got home around 8:30. The boys are all asking when we can go back. Jacob and Adam are talking about when they can drive to Kenzie's house. Jacob starts drivers training tomorrow.

12 since last Sunday. The weekend came through again. And the Shaard family parts came through as well. What a working Sun afternoon. Thought of you all often knowing what a difference you can make for your families. Should hear today around noon from Doug's doctor.
