Waiting for handles

Studying

I had a bunch of mugs to trim and put handles on today.  Eli had his last soccer practice this evening.  After dinner Jared and I unloaded the kiln.  Some pieces had glaze run onto the shelf.  We took notes so we know what not to do next time.  Peyton's mug was sitting on a stilt.  It tipped over onto a bowl and they stuck to each other and it stuck to the shelf.  I was able to break them apart and grind Peyton's mugs.

Little Eli Russell...sat in a corner...playing again with his legos. Along came his daddy and sat down beside him and play on his lunch break once more.
Love those corner shots. They are always accompanied with a smile. Bummer on the bad pottery but just another chapter in learning I guess one should think.
Can't get hung up on disasters. Great looking pregneant mugs in the spinning room. (funny) Cooler today. Great walking weather, so off to the Monon this afternoon. Monday was so HOT and muggy. Thanks so much for the pictures. Makes me feel like we're visiting in person. Haven't a clue when that will happen. Indiana is sliding down virus hill fast. Thanksgiving will be the two of us...No more, No less. Just happy to be virus free and will stay that way is my hope.

Eli makes the greatest sounds when playing with legos in his corner! I loves listening to him! Kimmy
