Poor Wilma is still sick. This morning I noticed she walked away when I was feeding. Her head was held low. I watched her and she wouldn't let her lamb nurse. I didn't have long before we had to leave for school. I thought she may need calcium so I crushed up some tums and fed it as a paste to her. Adam helped me. She was acting the same when I fed this afternoon. I caught her and put her in a stall. She was showing symptoms of milk fever. I gave her calcium gluconate under the skin in several spots. After 5 hrs of no improvement I dosed her again. And then again around 1am. She wasn't improving and it was super frustrating. I really wished Jared was home. Adam helped me, even at 1am.

You are pretty amazing how you know how to take care of sick sheep. What a blessing that Adam is such a great help.
