Eli made eggs, hashbrown's, and toast for breakfast.

I was thinking today was April 1st so I was teasing the boys with April fools.  Then Adam set me straight that today was not the 1st.  I was also thinking the chicks were arriving today but they will be here tomorrow.  Eli was very disappointed when he found that out.  The boys and I played Sequence. Adam and I were on a team and we won.  Jacob and Eli forgot to draw a couple few times so they had less cards to work with.  It was cool today.  We took a walk in the woods.  This evening we watched National Treasure 2.  Jared and I worked on softening the fox pelt this evening.

3/30/2020

We left around 9am for an emergency dentist appointment for Jacob.  He had a baby tooth (molar) crack in half and it needed to be extracted.  Unfortunately this tooth has no adult tooth. This is hereditary and runs in my family.  Jacob has two bottom molars like this and we were trying to just keep them as long as possible.  I had to text Dr Bailey when we got there and she let me know when we could come in.  We stopped at my parents house for a visit after our appointment.  Mom gave me some flour and Dad got us a huge roll of toilet paper - haha.  Dad also gave me the pen I threw at him yesterday which he was able to fix.   At home we had lunch and watched some tv.  Then I read several chapters of Little House.  Adam, Eli and I played Sequence and Adam won.  He forgot to draw a few times but still won. This evening we turned the heater on in the coop so it is warming up for our chicks. The boys caught chickens and tried to see how many they could get in the tree.  We played a game of Sequence, Adam and Daddy vs Eli and I.  Eli and I won.

Jared and I vs Jacob and Adam.  

We had banana bread and coffee for breakfast.  The boys also had donuts left over from yesterday.  At 9:30 we watched our online church service on the tv.  It was rainy and windy today.  We took a walk in the woods with Adam.  Daddy, Adam and Eli played minecraft while Jacob and I went to Aldi's for pizza's and breadsticks.  We also stopped for gas because the van was on low fuel.  Jacob played minecraft until lunch was ready.  After lunch Daddy and Adam played a game of Ticket to Ride with double trains.  Then Eli, Adam, Daddy and I played Mexican train.  We also played several games of Sequence.  My parents came over with toilet paper this afternoon.  We talked across the ditch.  It was so nice to see them!  This evening we had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched Black Panther.

Adam and Eli woke up early and watched tv.  We had donuts and banana bread for breakfast.  I made chocolate milk for the boys.  This afternoon I shaved Wyatt which took about 4 1/2 hrs.  I shaved him first and then gave him a bath. Then I blow dried him and combed him out.  I shaved him again and gave him another bath.  This evening we watched some tv and then I read to the boys.

Race to the house

Eli was up early and worked on Lexia and did prodigy.  Adam got up and woke Jacob so they could watched some tv.  I read several chapters in Little House.  Then we played a game of Sorry.  Adam won and I came in last place.  Adam and I played chess and he won.  After lunch we went outside for a walk.  It was beautiful outside today.  The boys worked on school work for awhile.  Eli came outside with me to help take care of the sheep.  He then helped me make some banana bread. We watched a National Geographics. The boys and Daddy played minecraft.  This evening we watched a Marvel movie.

3/26/2020

Wilma's lamb was chewing on my finger while I was trying to feed the other lamb this morning.  The other lamb is having a hard time learning to take a bottle.  Back inside we read a couple chapters from Little House on the Prairie. Adam had a zoom meeting to attend. Then the boys and I played Mexican train Domino's.  Adam won the first game and I won the second.  Jacob made a cake for dessert.  I told him to be careful not to get shells in and showed him how to crack the first egg.  Half my shell fell in and we all had a good laugh.  Adam and I played a game of Chinese checkers.  After lunch we took a walk.  The sun came out and it was so nice out.  The boys climbed some trees and had fun running around.  After the boys finished their school work we watched Drain Pirate City.  I took care of the sheep and bottle fed the lambs.  I tried a new nipple on the hard to feed lamb and he finally learned to suck.  He drank the last few ounces on his own.  I worked on weeding grass that was coming up in the flower beds.  Then I dug out the grass that was growing near the brick sidewalk.  Jacob and Adam took the wheelbarrow up to the sandhill and got us a load of sand.  We added some sand on and next to the sidewalk.

Han and Oscar

We woke up just before 7am.  Adam fell asleep in the chair while I was doing my Wii exercises.  The boys watched some tv while I took care of the sheep and bottle fed the lambs.  We finished the first Little House book and started on the third.  We are skipping Farmer Boy for now, which is the second book.  We played a couple games of mexican train dominos.  After lunch we took a walk in the woods.  Jacob tried to climb to the top of some smaller trees so he could ride them down like Daddy used to.  I sat on the swing with Wyatt and Eli for awhile.  The boys worked on school work and practicing their instruments.  Jared and I made a quick trip to town to get more milk replacer from TSC.  We also stopped at meijer for some groceries.  The boys played minecraft. After dinner we went outside to work on getting the coop ready for chicks.  The neighbor boys and their family were taking a walk down the road.  Logan and Gavin were happy to see the boys.  They talked over the ditch.  Daddy showed Jacob how to climb and ride the trees.  Daddy needed a boost from Adam.  He couldn't get the tree to fall the direction he wanted so it hit another tree and he had to jump to the ground.  He said he used to be able to make the tree fall anyway he wanted.
