Happy Birthday Adam!

Jacob's home!

Jacob's souvenirs from Washington D.C.  He also got Eli a bag full of hematites (Eli's favorite rock) and Adam a big coin magnet.

Adam came into our bedroom before 5am.  He had already checked out all his presents and was super excited!  We were up at around 6:00.  Adam opened a few small presents this morning.  He put together a small lego arctic set.  Daddy, Adam and Eli headed into town to get drinks and donuts/bagels.  At home the boys watched some tv.  At around 8:30 we headed to the school to pick up Jacob. He had gotten there right before us.  In the van he showed us his souvenirs and talked about his trip.  We saw pictures and videos from his trip.  He sure had a great time!!  Adam wants one of us to go on his trip with him.  Jacob said, 'I would recommend going without your parents."  Haha.  From the school we headed to the soccer complex.  Adam's game started at 10:00.  Adam sure is great playing on defense and loves that position.  The game ended in a tie 3-3.  We gave out cupcakes after the game.  Then we went right to Eli's game which started at 11:30.  Eli played hard with his team and had a couple shots on goal.  His team won.  The boys got pizza's at the concession for lunch.  Adam was ready to open presents when we got home.  Jacob was happy we waited for him to watch.  Adam got a couple minecraft lego sets, a yo yo, artist silly putty, a teen study bible, Garfield book, water balloons, and a bag of caramels. Adam spent the next few hours putting together his lego sets.  He took a break and we went for a walk in the woods.  Jacob came for a walk in the woods so he could get more steps on his fitbit.  Adam and Daddy played minecraft on the computer.  Then Adam, Eli and Daddy went into town to get pizza for dinner.  We watched the Lego movie, the Second part.  We sang to the birthday boy and had cake/ice cream.  Jared and I took another walk in the woods while the boys watched some tv.  We tucked Jacob and Eli in bed.  Adam stayed up a little later and played minecraft with Daddy.  We had a fun day celebrating with our 12 year old!
