Wyatt went for a swim
"Did I get all the mud off my face?"
Mom and Dad drove up from Indianapolis for the weekend. They arrived about 2:30 Friday afternoon. They got to meet Wyatt. Mom and Dad brought up lots of new plants and a wonderful walnut tree. We worked on planting the wide variety of plants in the flowerbed and in the woods as well. Dad had fun spoiling Wyatt with little pieces of poptarts. It’ll be interesting to see if Wyatt remembers that. Wyatt certainly wagged his tail a lot. We had a lot of fun playing Uno with rules Jacob brought back from band camp. It allows you to add draw 4s and draw twos in a row sticking someone with drawing a ton of cards. Its really funny. Grandma seem to want to make up her own rules with putting random cards on the pile. For some reason a Red Skip was placed on a green 2. or Red draw 2’s were to be played on green 2’s. It was quite funny. We had a nice fire and some smores as well. Wyatt managed to snag a marshmallow from the staging area. He’s quick. We dug up some sensitive fern from mom to take back to Indiana. She brings up 14 plants we send back 1. Seems about right. We have lots of really nice plants in our flower garden. Lots of Indiana transplants over the years. Mom disappeared Sunday afternoon in the van and came back with some nice hanging baskets and some really nice annuals for our pot by the back steps. The pansy’s she planted back in april survived the snow and ice but it was time for something new in the pot. Monday morning they headed back to Indianapolis. Wyatt will miss those small pieces of poptart i’m sure.
