10-4-16

Today I picked up the boys from school and we headed to the bank to cash their 4-H checks.  They wanted to see the money and count it.  As we were walking to the van Adam pulled his envelope out of his pocket.  Not long after that he looked worried and asked, "Where's my envelope!"  Then he looked down at his hand with the envelope in it.  We all laughed so hard.  They got two checks, one from the auction and one for the show.  They kept the small amount out that they had won at the show and put the rest in their savings account.  We told them that they could buy something with the money or save it.  They both chose to add it to the money their saving in their wallets.  From there we headed to Salvation army.  There I found a really nice umbrella for our patio table, some winter boots and mittens for Eli, and a nice sweatshirt for Jacob.  We got home around 5:30.  Jared had to work late today.  After dinner we headed to the Woodside park in Hope.  Jared had a meeting at the park.  The boys had fun playing and riding on their scooters.  I walked the path around the park.

Nice blue car! So proud of those boys for showing their sheep and earning that money. Nice how they both wanted to add the extra to the bone they are saving in their wallets
