Got a call from the school this morning saying that school's closed today for a snow day! There was a winter storm warning in effect. It was early but I was so excited and couldn't get back to sleep. I drank my coffee and waited for the boys to wake up. Eli woke up first and cuddled on my lap. The boys were super excited when I told them about the snow day! They watched Ninjago for awhile and then started making lots of paper airplanes, cootie catchers, and paper claws. I spent several hours making and decorating cupcakes and a cake for Eli's birthday. Adam loved helping me. The boys all had fun decorating the cupcakes for Eli's class. The roads were really bad by the time Jared got out of work. They called off school again for tomorrow! Yay!!! Even more exciting since now Eli gets to spend his birthday at home! This evening Jacob and Adam helped me wrap presents and blow up balloons in the bedroom. They lock the door and you had to use a code to get in. They made some extra surprises for Eli's birthday.
Adam accidently got hit in the lip so Jacob came to the rescue. Jacob is being an ambulance.
Hard to believe my baby is going to be 6 tomorrow!!!
