I took this picture to show the boys.

Mom came over today.  She finished knitting her first bag and started on a new one.

It turned out really cute and she is giving it to Melissa.

Mom took this cute picture of Norman

Picture with Nana

Adam was playing outside so Nana got a picture with him before she headed home.

Jacob came out and wanted to be in the picture too

This evening we noticed Ewe #47 was pawing a lot and standing in the corner.  We started checking on her more frequently (Every 30 min).  She still hadn't had any progress after a few hours so I decided to check her.  She was fully dilated and I could feel the lamb coming in the right position.  Jared and I sat in the barn and waited for a long time.  Around 1am I checked her again and she hadn't had any progress.  So I pulled this first lamb but she sure didn't want to come out.  She kept pulling her slippery legs back.   It was a girl and weighs 11 lbs 1 oz.   We dried her off and then dragged her to the stall with her mom following.  The second lamb came about 30 minutes later and she weighed 9 lbs 10 oz.  It was fun watching the lambs stand on their own.  We did tubed them each a couple oz of colostrum so we didn't have to worry about them during the night.  We went to bed at 2am and set the alarm for 5am so we could go check on them.  They are doing very well!  This mom is such a good mom and very protective of her lambs.
