This morning we had our annual IEP meeting for Jacob at the junior high. Jacob was recently retested to determine whether he is still eligible for special education. This testing is done every three years. The testing results showed that Jacob is still eligible. So today we went over the results of that testing and also the goals, objectives, and accommodations written in the IEP. Today we also took the lambs to market in St Loius and Jared took the day off work. The boys loved riding in Papa's truck to school. While we were dropping off the lambs we met the nutrition manager of Armada feed. We talked to him for awhile and he gave us a lot of helpful tips on growing and finishing lambs. After about an hour we started on our way home. As we were driving we hit a small bump in the road and when Jared looked in the mirror he saw the trailer go up and then down. It was swerving and Jared said, "The trailer came unhitched!' I thought the trailer was going to come passing us and hit the semi's in the other lane - yikes! The safety chains did their job and we were able to pull over. I sure was nervous the rest of the drive home.
