We decided to shear Oscar this afternoon.  His wool is a lot different than our suffolk sheep.  We usually can shear our suffolk in 15 minutes but Oscar took about an hour.  Now that were spinning the wool we also have to worry about second cuts. After we finished shearing Grandma helped us look through the wool for second cuts.

Grandma and Grandpa worked on bottling honey while Jared and I washed Oscar's wool.

Different colors of honey

We got about 5 lbs of wool from Oscar

Love the picture of Grandma and Jacob with the kittens. Oscar was so beautiful with all that wool. Can't believe how small and different he looks afterward. Love the picture of Grandpa and the boys.
