The boys are on spring break this week. We got Tim Bits from Tim Hortons and then headed to Plymouth Park. The boys had so much fun playing there. For the first hour Eli chased his big brothers around, playing tag. Then Jacob asked some other kids if he and Adam could play tag with them. I pushed Eli on the swings and then we played together on the playground.

We ate a packed lunch and then headed to McDonalds for ice cream. The kids had fun in the play area there. Jacob got punched in the mouth by a boy that was being a bully and got a bloody lip. Jacob decided to talk to his mom. She disciplined the boy and then had him apologize to us. Jacob helped Eli get his tie shoes on before we left. We headed to the library. The boys each picked out a book. Jacob loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. And a Adam loves Captain Underpants books. Eli picked out a pokemon book.

Today Jacob got his own library card. He was super excited!

Vikki and the kids came over this evening.

We had fun making this ribbon holder for Vikki and Kenzie.

Kenzie and Jared were entertaining us by moving in slow motion but Vikki was recording them in fast motion. Haha

3-28-15

Today we worked on our chicken coop.

We took out the wood floor and put in a sand floor. Adam was such a great helper.

We took out the nesting boxes that were in the coop and put up perches. We also built a few external nesting boxes.

Catching the four adult chickens we have to put them in the coop. They've been roosting (and pooping) at night in the barn.

Here is the blanket I've been working on. It is going to be made from our handspun wool. Maude's wool will be on top and bottom with Romney wool in the middle. Fun!
