Christmas Eve 2014

Papa checking out his new hatchet

Nana got a power pack too:)

We woke up to Adam and Jacob on the floor in our bedroom.  They were really excited. The boys watched Daddy play a little Lego  Batman on the Wii.  Eli slept in until just after 8:00.  We stopped at Tim Horton's for coffees on our way to my parents house.  Got there just after 9:00.  I helped Kenzie wrap Mom's presents from Dad. Since I can remember Dad has always given me (or Kenzie) Mom's presents to wrap in the morning (the day we celebrate) - haha.  Dad read the Christmas story from the Bible before we opened gifts.  We had Kenzie open her present first because she had to leave for wrestling practice.  One of her gifts (from Aunt Missy) was a sucker with a really scorpion in it.  Kenzie ate the sucker and the scorpion - yuck.  Then the kids did their gift exchange.  Eli was so excited about his minecraft spider jokey set and said, "Its just was I always wanted!"  All the kids were so fun to watch this year!  Lots of excitement!  Jacob got a RC helicopter and Adam got a RC car.  All three boys got money, bath bubbles, fort building sets, and legos.  Jared and I got another 100ft of our favorite garden hose and Tim Horton's gift cards. I also got a power pack charger, a candle, and a dishcloth (knitted by Mom).  Thank you Mom and Dad!!  After everyone finished opening gifts the boys sat at the table and worked on building their legos sets. Kenzie got back from practice before it was time to eat.  All the food was so yummy!  Thank you Mom!!  The kids had fun playing the Wii lego game, playing with legos,  and playing in the basement.  I got to cuddle with Evan and he fell asleep on my lap.  This evening we went to the Christmas Eve service at church and the boys played bells.  Nana and Papa came too.  At home the boys got out their fort building sets and played with those until bedtime.

Woo...big Xmas Eve for you all. Well, Xmas Eve Day. All is quiet here. Dad's still in bed. I delivered a gift to Beth Galloway's front porch this morning. Forgot to do that after church early this morning. Cross word is finished and the rest of the day is ready for me. Merry Christmas.
