Eli's first day of preschool! (with Mommy)
Today I got to go with Eli for his first day of preschool. Wow, I can't believe our little boy is in preschool! He was super excited! Class today went from 8:30 - 11:30. On Monday he will start with full days (Friday's off). Most parents wanted full days so they don't offer half days anymore. We sat at the tables to play with table top toys and chatted with the teachers. After a while we headed to the carpet. Here the kids came up with class rules which Miss Shanon wrote on the board (added to the list from yesterdays group of kids). Then Miss Nicole read a book called The Kissing hands. The kids went to play while Miss Nicole went over some things with us. Then Eli and I had fun working on a kissing hands craft project to hang on the wall. Yesterday I had gotten a birth certificate for Eli which the school needed. Today I found out that they had given me someone else's certificate. Eli had a pop tart and milk for a snack. He said, “BA Baracus drinks milk and falls over.” The kids played inside for awhile and then we went outside to play. It was a chilly day, mid 50’s. Eli had a lot of fun today and is looking forward to Monday. This afternoon Nana came over to visit. The boys were so excited to see her when they got home from school. Adam had soccer practice this evening.
