Eagle River
Looking for his stick
"More coffee?"
Adam woke up around 6am. Daddy and I played Uno with him until pancake time. Jacob slept in until around 10:00. Eli still wasn't feeling well and didn't eat breakfast. Adam pushed him around in the stroller while we walked. We all played Uno until lunchtime. After lunch we headed to Eagle River, arriving around 2:00. The weather was really nice and the beach was busy. We let Norman stay off his leash while we were there and he was very good. Norman would probably fetch a stick all day. He found a sunk chunk of wood and stuck his head under to get it. Jared threw that wood back into the water many times and Norman always found it. The boys helped Daddy build some damns. They had lots of fun swimming in the lake and throwing the stick for Norman. Daddy would throw it to Jacob, Jacob to Adam, and then Adam would throw it for Norman. My phone time was off an hour so we thought we were leaving at 5:00 but it was really 6:00. Back at camp we got dinner ready and ate late. I took a dish off the stove but left the burner on. Jared set the box of matches on the burner which he thought was off. The box caught on fire. When Jared noticed it he blew on the box to put out the fire. The box was making noises so he threw the whole box in the fire. The boys said, "Cool, Daddy burning a box of matches!" Grandma and Grandpa came over to sit by the fire and visit. Got to bed around 10:30.
