The EAA was giving free Young Eagle plane rides today for ages 8-17. Jacob was so excited to fly. He flew in a low wing plane over Midland. Jacob loved it and said they flew 3000 ft in the air. He got to fly over the soccer fields and Dow Corning. Another little girl flew in the plane with them. Jacob sat in the back and got to talk with the pilot and girl using a headset. First the pilot took them around the plane and explained a lot of things to them. She was very nice. They were in the air for about 20 minutes. Afterwards the pilot presented them with Young Eagles certificates. From there we headed to Adam's soccer game. He got to play goalie which he enjoyed. We ate a packed lunch and then headed over to the field for Jacob's game. This evening Jared and I worked on cutting down trees in our woods.
And their off
