Cooking hotdogs on the fire.

Tired boy

It was a cold night but we all stayed warm in our sleeping bags. We were up around 7am. Jacob took a  bike rides this morning and said his hands were freezing. We were able to move sites after breakfast because the campers there left early. We took our dining fly and some other things down first. Then we hooked up the camper to move it.  Jacob fell over the handle on the scooter and landed on his knee. His knee really hurt and it was a little swollen. He set the timer on his watch for Daddy to check his knee every hour. After lunch we took a walk around the campground. Jacob walked ahead of us and we used his walkie talkie. He would give us a wood report or tell us if cars were coming. Adam liked going down the hill while squatting on his scooter. Eli pushed his stroller. After lunch we headed to town to visit with Leslie and see the pottery. Then we walked across the street so the boys could play on the big chair. Eli was nervous on top of it but liked playing underneath. We then walked over to the school playground. The boys had lots of fun on the merry-go-round. Jacob was worried about Eli falling off so he stood by him and said, "If anyone's going to fall its gonna be me." We played "police and bad guy" with the boys. Then we took a drive up Brockway Mt. It was a cool day (50 degrees and cloudy). Got back to camp around 5pm. Jacob and Adam took the walkie talkies to play by the edge of the Lake Fanny Hooe. Eli and I went over there to play with them while Daddy got a fire ready for dinner.  After dinner we took a walk (boys rode bikes) around the campground. Eli rode in the stroller and fell asleep. We walked over to the fort to see Battery D and walk through some of the buildings again. Back at camp we sat by the fire and made smores. We were in bed around 9:30.
