Adam lost a tooth!
Jacob came into our bedroom around 6:30 and lay in bed for
a little while. He was shaking so I asked if he was cold. He said, "No, I'm just excited!" Soon the other boys were up too and Jacob was
ready to open his presents. Adam was acting a grumpy this morning.
Jacob said, “I think he’s a little jealous.” Jacob first opened his smaller gifts
which were an i-tunes card (for minecraft), a couple matchbox cars, drawing
pens, tracing paper, and candy bars. Jacob tried to cheer Adam up and said, "This card is for BUYING minecraft but it's for everyone to play". Lastly he pulled blankets off his
new bike. He was very excited about all his gifts. Jacob and Adam played minecraft on the ipods. While they played that Jacob told Eli he could play with his new cars. He also gave Eli his birthday balloon. Jacob said, “I didn’t know there was minecraft the full version but since I found out I’ve been dreaming about it!” Jacob and I took a fun bike ride down our road. It was very cool out this morning. After church we headed home. Jared loaded bikes on the van and I started dough in the bread maker. The boys played outside until we were ready to leave. Around noon we headed to the rail trail to ride bikes. We rode to the playground by the tridge. It was pretty wet there from flooding. While we played Jared rode his bike back to the van and then drove to get a pizza. While at the pizza place he locked his keys in the van. A friend drove him to our house for the spare keys. The skating area was empty so the boys got to ride their bikes around in there for awhile. We ate our pizza by the tridge. Around 3pm we headed over to the wooden park. The boys decided that we were the police and Daddy was the "bad guy". We had alot of fun playing there for over an hour. At home the boys played outside in the apple tree. They brought some chickens in the tree with them. We were all too full for dinner so I made rolls with the dough. Jacob put his candles in his cake and we sang to the birthday boy. After cake and ice cream we ate popcorn and watched a movie. Jacob got to talk to Aunt Bippi, Nana and Papa, and Grandma and Grandpa on the phone this evening. It was a fun day celebrating with our birthday boy!
