Hailey in her school Christmas program
This morning we went out for our Sat am drinks and donuts. Back at home Jacob and Kenzie brought a few chickens into the house. They sat with them on the kitchen floor and fed them pancakes. Kenzie and I play a couple games of checkers. While Eli was napping we went outside. Kenzie helped us clean the sheep stall. Then Jared and I caught the ram. We took off his breeding harness and noticed that he smelled awful. The harness had rubbed on him, making a nasty sore which was infected. We dumped peroxide on in and put on antibiotics. Then we moved him into a new paddock. We dragged him halfway before having Kenzie come walk behind him with me. He took right off then and walked easily all the way to the paddock. Then we caught Clarence (our goat). Kenzie, Jared and I dragged him to the paddock with Kenny. We caught Maude and put her in with the ewes. She is pretty easy to catch in her old age. The two lambs were also out with them and were much harder to catch. Jacob and Adam also helped us. We had to moved a round bale into the sheep stall. It was stacked on top of other round bales and was very hard to get it down. We made several levers to stand on and got it down. The boys helped us roll it over to the stall. This evening we went to Hailey's school Christmas program. It was very nice and we enjoyed it.
