10/26/23

 I worked on trimming mugs and adding handles.  I had 15 mugs and made 8 of them with double handles.  Jared picked the boys up from school.  He picked up Adam first at 3:30 and then Eli.  Eli had walked to the antique store. There are some cool swords in there and knives he likes to look at.  I went to Mom's and we went to Vikki's to pick her up.  Then we headed to Zhender's in Frankenmuth.  We got our birthday dinner and Mom order a half sandwich.  The food was very good.  We had lots of leftovers to take home.  They also gave us ice cream sundaes.  Went to Bronner's to get our Christmas ornament.  We had alot of fun walking there.  Tonight was Eli's last soccer practice.  It was parents vs kids.  The parents won 6-5 but there were some Midland varsity players playing with the parents. Jared is going to be very sore.    

10/25/23

 I threw mugs on the wheel today.  Jacob's quartet played for the president's band today.  Jacob said the clarinets were absolutely amazing!  While the boys were at youth group Jared and I walked around the pet store.  Then we drove by the place that Jared volunteered at today.  He helped fill boxes at the food pantry.  The boys played Stormworks with Daddy.  I pugged a bunch of clay.  

10/24/23

Jacob and I headed to Lansing around 10am.  Jacob slept on the drive there.  We made a couple trips up to his dorm room with stuff.  We refilled snacks and drinks.  His laundry is all done too.  After saying goodbye I headed to Petco and then back home.  I stopped at the antique store by Meridian.  The weather was so nice today.  Sat on the deck and made pork chops on the grill.  This evening Eli had a concert.  It was a very nice concert.  The place was packed!  Stopped at McDonald's for shake on the way home.

 This morning I worked on laying bricks and moving the cold frame up by the house.  I like where it is and I like that it's coving an ugly area on the house.  Plus the chickens won't be digging back there.  Kenzie and Nana came over this afternoon.  Kenzie brought me a cappuccino and a donut for Jacob and I.  Mine was pumpkin - yummy!  Mom and Jacob left to go out to eat.  I followed Kenzie to her Dr appointment for her last ultrasound!  Her little boy always had his hand by his mouth.  I'm so glad I got to go see this little guy again!  I picked up the boys a few minutes late.  They didn't mind.  Nana waited until we got home so she could see Adam and Eli too.  Eli had soccer practice.  The boys carved pumpkins this evening.  Well all Adam wanted to do was draw on his pumpkin what he wanted carved.  Jacob and Eli had fun working on theirs.  Jacob spent a long time on his.  We watched the movie Remember the Titans.

Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies, early this morning.  Adam and Jacob were still sleeping when we left to go to Eli's soccer game.  We got there at around 9:30.  It was a tough game but we won 3-1.  One more game next weekend.  The boys were up when we got home.  Jared worked on mowing the lawn and I worked in the flower beds.  It was a beautiful day today, sunny and cool.  Jacob walked the path in the woods and got some great pictures.  Adam took a bike ride to the store.  We took Jacob to Kohl's and JcPenney's because he needed some dress clothes.  He found a sports coat that he likes alot.  We went to Goodwill and he found a flannel that he likes.  He needed a flannel for something he's going to.  We went to Costco and Jacob picked out some snacks.  Had dinner when we got home.  Jared and I played 3-13 and I won.  Adam, Eli and Daddy played stormworks.

This morning I shaved Wyatt and trimmed his nails.  Then I cleaned the house and also cleaned the van.  I picked up some chicken nuggets, fries and drinks for Eli and Liam.  Liam came home with us after school.  Jared picked Adam up from school.  The boys had a great time.  We made burgers for dinner.  They went down to Logan's house for awhile.  They came back with Logan and had fun playing outside.  When they came inside I made them some hot chocolate.   I told Eli about the amish kids walking down the road in bare feet.  He decided to walk Logan home in barefoot.  It was very cold outside.  Burr.  Jared went to Lansing to pick up Jacob.  He was wearing his new Salt MSU clothes.  He gave me some birthday surprises, lemonade and starburst.  He's so sweet!  Jared took Liam home.  Jared and I played 3-13 and I won.  Adam is staying up late tonight, playing in a bedwars tournament.  The guy he's playing in the tournament with is from Australia.
