10/27/22

I made Eli some bacon this morning and we watched an old Zorro after he was ready for school.  I woke Jacob before we left but he was still asleep when I got back so I woke him again.  I worked on making handles.  I got the handles attached and then had to leave to get Adam.  When I got back I finished working on the handles.  Then I took Jacob to school.  When I got back I added the knobs on the handles.  I picked up Jacob and Eli up and dropped Eli off at home.  I took Jacob to his clarinet practice in Bay city. That was from 4-5pm.  We had dinner at home and then I took Jacob to his band practice with the midland concert band at 6:30-9:30.  He starts the practice with his clarinet choir.  Eli tried to change the password on his phone because a friend at school figured it out.  He got locked out of his phone and it ended having to be restored.  He was bummed because he lost some things by doing this, like his progress on his favorite games.  We played some bedwars.  

10/26/22

 Adam went to school a full day today.  I threw mugs on the wheel.  Jacob wanted to be woke up early for school work. I took him to school around 12:30.  After school the boys watched tv and played some minecraft. This evening the boys had youth group.  Jared and I bundled up and walked around a cute neighborhood near the church.  We sure had fun.  Jacob had a test to take when we got home.  I trimmed my mugs. 

10/25/22

 I forgot to cover my mugs last night so they were too dry for trimming.  I made handles.  Picked Adam up  from school and finished handles when I got home.  Jacob need to get to school a little early.  He studied for a test. Jared's work had a chemical spill so Jared was in a shelter in place.  Some people were hurt and went to the hospital.  He was going to go to the movie with Jacob and Adam but didn't get out on time.  I dropped Jacob and Adam off around 4:00 to watch the movie, Black Adam.  Jared got home around 5:30.  You could smell the chemical that was released on him so he took a shower and I washed his clothes.  He had to leave to get the boys.  Eli had to be to school at 6:30 for his 7:00 concert.  Jared met us there.  Mom and Dad came to the concert too. We enjoyed the concert and Eli did great.  After the concert I took Eli to McDonalds for a shake. 

10/24/22

 I felted some wool this morning.  Also threw some mugs on the wheel.  Picked Adam up during his lunch.  I finished throwing mugs when we got home.  It was windy day today.  This evening we went to my parents house for a visit.  We  worked on making a video for my cousin and his fiancé.  It took us may tries to get it right and we had alot of laughs.  My cousin Mark has changed his name to Mars and we had a hard time not calling him Mark in the video.  We also had a hard time saying his fiancé's name right.  She from Vietnam.   We played a fun game of skipbo.  Adam and Jacob on a team, Jared and I and Mom and Vikki.  The boys won.  Eli worked on whittling a wood piece with an eagle on it for his class.  The kids had fun in the basement.  Got home around 9:30.

 We woke Jacob up at 8:00.  Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  Jacob had to be in Bay city today at 10:00 for his All state audition.  He wanted to get there 30 min early to warm up.  He said it went ok.  He was nervous.  We played some bedwars with the boys when they got back.  Jacob tilled the garden.  Then he helped me take apart the old deck from our pool.  Jared went to town to get a couple loads of wood pellets.  Adam and Eli helped unload it.  Jacob had math homework that he worked on until late.  Then he practiced his instrument.  Eli had a 4:00 soccer game.  They played so hard but lost 2-5.  Eli and I gave lots of attention to Bo.  Then we worked on building a cat house out of pallet wood for Nana's kitty.  Adam had a Halloween party to go to with Meridian friends this evening.  There was food and a bomb fire.  He had a great time.

 Jacob and I went shopping this morning for cowboy clothes.  First we went to Goodwill and we found him a shirt.  We then went to Salvation Army but didn't find anything there.  We had to wait awhile because they weren't open when we first got there.  We went to Halloween USA but their hats were expensive and cheesy.  We went to the dollar store and got him a bandana.  We then went to school to pick up Adam.  We stopped at TSC and Jacob found a cowboy hat there.  It was a kids hat but he didn't mind and thought it was funny.  We came home and had lunch.  Then I took Jacob to Meridian.  I threw some tumblers on the wheel.  Adam watched tv.  His head was really hurting.  I brought Bo's halter in to wash. I scrubbed it and put it in the washing machine. I took a walk in the paddock and saw the fox has dug under the fence again where Jared filled it in.  It was a nice day today.  We called Grandma and Grandpa and talked to them while we sat on the swing.  This evening Eli had soccer practice.  Jared took Eli and Adam.  He dropped off Eli and then took Adam to the Midland football game to be dropped off.  He picked Eli up early and took him home on his way to Meridian.  I was at the Meridian game and saved him a seat.  We had popcorn and enjoyed the game.  We especially enjoyed the halftime show.  This is Jacob last Meridian marching band performance.  All the seniors dressed up as cowboys.  It was a cute show they did.  Meridian won 21-6.  Jared left and went to pick up Adam.  Midland won. They were playing Dow, their rival team.  Jacob went out with friends after the game to Pizza Hut.  They were going to go to Buffalo Wild Wings but it was too busy.
