8/22/22

Today was Adam's first day of 10th grade.  He likes to get to school at 7:20 but got there early.  He was excited to listen to car talk with Daddy in the morning again.  They stopped at Apple bagel for a bagel.  I walked the recycling down to the end of the road.  Eli helped me work on trimming Bo's hooves.  We fed him some grain.  He sure loves his grain.  Jacob Eli and I played a game of Skipbo and Jacob won.  We played some bedwars.  Adam had a good first day of school.  He's got a friend from church in 4 of his classes.  His first class is Geometry and then Physics.  I picked Adam up at 2:30. He played some Minecraft at home.  Jared got home from work early.  Adam had to be to the school at 4:30 for his 5:30 soccer game. We took a nice walk around on the sidewalks in the neighborhood. Adam started on defense in the game.  It was a fun game to watch and Adam played well.  They won 7-1

8/21/22

 We had to be to the fair around 8am to help take down the 4H displays.  We also stripped the sheep stalls and took down the decorations in there.  The other families with sheep didn't show up to help.  We watched church online when we got home.  Then we played some bedwars with the boys.  I went to town to get groceries.  Jared went to town to get new shower handles.  He also picked up pizza's and pops for lunch.  The boys worked on cleaning their 4H sheep stall.  Adam mowed the lawn.  Jared kept the fires stacked with wood.  Adam and Eli played some minecraft.  Jacob reorganized his room.  We watched Mall cop and had popcorn pop and ice cream.  Adam's first day of school is tomorrow! He also has his first home soccer game.  

8/20/22

 We slept in until after 9:00.  Jacob and Eli were up watching tv.  We woke Adam.  Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  He dropped Adam off at the fair to take care of the sheep.  Adam drove to town and back home.  We played some bedwars with the boys.  Jacob had a clarinet lesson at 1:00 in Bay City.  This afternoon we worked burning the cotton wood logs.  We moved the rest of the logs from the front yard over to the fire.  After dinner Jared and I went to the fair to walk around and fed the sheep.  We saw Eli's good friend Lane and his mom.  

8/19/22

 I dropped Jacob and Eli off at the fair to take care of sheep while I took Adam to his soccer practice. His practice was from 10 - 12:00.  We went school shopping and I picked up some pencils for Adam.  The boys didn't need much for school this year.  Jacob is giving Eli his backpack and he is using a smaller one that Kenzie got him.  I went into Meijer and was walking in crocs.  The floor was wet and I went down.  My one leg went out in front of me and my shin hit the cart hard.  It hurt so bad and there is a bump on my shin.  This afternoon I worked on cleaning out the pantry cupboard.  The ants are coming through the wall.  I washed the shelves and caulked.  Hopefully that takes care of the ants.  I played some bedwars with the boys.  This evening Jared and I went into town to walk around the fair.  The boys wanted to stay home.  We had a great time together.  We fed the boys sheep.  Then we walked around the animals and through the merchant  buildings.  We went in the Gerstacker building and then walked by the horses. After the fair we went to Meijer, Walmart, and target looking for a cooler for Adam.  We also picked him up some protein drinks.  

8/18/22

I dropped Jacob and Eli off at the fair to take care of sheep and then took Adam to school.  He had pictures today and other things to do at school.  Jacob and Eli stripped the stalls and added new bedding.  We stopped at McDonals after picking up Adam for smoothies.  Jared got out of work early and we got back to the fair at 3:30.  We bathed the sheep. Saw Hailey and Jack.  The boys got changed and the auction started at 5:30.  Nana, Papa Peyton and Isaac came to the auction.  Jacob and Eli sheep sold for $6/lb and Adam's sold for $7/lb.  After the auction Jared took Jacob to his clarinet choir.  We walked around the merchant buildings.  Got pizza and breadsticks for dinner.  

8/17/22

 I tested Evan and he was negative for covid.  I made scrambled eggs and toast for Jack and Eli.  Nana came to pick up Jack and Evan around 9:30.  We headed to the fair to take care of the sheep.  I dropped off Jacob and Eli and they took care of the lambs while I took Adam to Dunhams for white soccer socks.  Then we went to Meijer for a couple things.  We picked the boys up from the fair and then headed to Adam's school.  He needed to be dropped off at 11:45 for his soccer game.  The team is riding a charter bus to Petoskey. They got Subway for lunch.  Jared left work early and stopped at the fair to check on the sheep.  We stopped at Dunhams for bleacher seats.  We left around 1:00 and headed to Petoskey.  We stopped and picked up a pizza on the way there.  The bus arrived late so the game was delayed.  It started around 5:00.  The jv team played first followed by varsity.  It was a fun game to watch.  The jv team won 5-2.  The varsity team won 3-0.  We got home around 10:15.  Adam needed to be picked up at 11:20.
