Dob and her new lambs.

I got a call while I was grocery shopping that Eli's sheep, Dob, was lambing.  She was really straining.  I was checking out so made it home quickly. This lamb was big for her and it was a very tight delivery.  We went inside for about 20 min.  I came out and found that she had another lamb. She had a boy and a girl. The boys weighed 12.1 and the girls was 10 lbs.  She's a first time mom and is doing great.

 I dropped Jacob off at school at around 11:00 and headed to my parents house.  Papa, Nana and Adam were playing a game of Skipbo.  Adam won.  Mom and I played 3-13 and she won.  Dad had picked us up some muffins and they were yummy!  Dad picked up Peyton and Isaac after school so Vikki could come after work.  Jared picked Jacob and Adam up from school so I could stay a little longer at my parents.  We played some games of Phase 10.  When we got home we went to the barn to move round bales.  The boys didn't think we'd be able to move them without the tractor because they are really big and heavy. They got it done though. Adam and Eli played some Minecraft until dinner.  After dinner Jacob went in his room to practice his instrument.  We played some bedwars before bed.

Leo was wet this morning. 

Thor jumped up on my window when I got home.

I checked on the sheep this afternoon and Ruby had just lambed.  She had twins.  The boy weighs 14.5 and the girl weighs 10 lbs.

2/16/22

Adam gave me this keychain that he made in art class.

 I trimmed mugs and made handles.  It was a warm day but very windy.  We had burgers and fries for dinner.  After dinner Jared took Jacob and Adam to youth group.  It was a slippery walk to the barn to check on sheep.  When Jared got back we played some bedwars with Eli.

I made mugs on the wheel today.  This evening we went to Herters music shop to pick up Jacob clarinet.  He played it in the back seat of the car.  We went to Linwood to pick up an English saddle for Eli but after we waited for a long time the lady messaged that she had a horse emergency and couldn't make it.  We headed home.  We ate a late dinner.  Jacob worked on school work.  We played a couple bedwars with the boys.  Jacob and Eli played their clarinets. Adam is thinking he might like to get a guitar and take lessons.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Birthday Jared (and Uncle Rick)!!!

 

The boys wanted to put all 49 candles on!

We woke the boys a little early this morning.  Daddy opened his birthday gifts.  He got new muck boots, a tape measure, and some flannels.  We gave the boys some valentines goodies.  Jared surprised me with some flowers and some sapphire earrings.  Jared took Adam and Jacob to school.  Jacob forgot his lunch at home.  Jared came home from work early, around noon.  We ate lunch and played a game of 3-13.  Jared won. Jacob has been wanting to put away his legos and get rid of his storage chest.  We packed them away and put a night stand table by Jacob's bed.  Jared went to get the boys while I finished moving things and cleaning up.  I went out to take care of the animals.  We  played some bedwars with the boys.  Jared went to Pi's to get dinner.  It was a long wait.  We made pizza for the boys.  Adam, Jared and I played 2-13 and I won.  We sang to the birthday boy and lit a bunch fo candles.
