Mugs I made this week

I made handles before taking the boys to school.  It took me a long time to turn left coming out from the school today.  People turning right kept blocking my view.  Usually I can get out pretty quickly.  Jared and I headed to Runyan's pottery shop this morning.  Jared needed a blue glaze ingredient and we got a couple tools.  We could walk around in that shop all day.  We got home around 11:00.  Jared had an 11:30 meeting.  I trimmed pots and put handles on my mugs.  I had to finish after getting home with the boys.  I finished my handles around 5:00 and then we had to leave for Adam's soccer practice.  Adam handed me a wet mask to wash when practice was over.  Practice was from 5:30 to 7:00.  Jacob, Eli and Daddy kicked the soccer ball around in the empty field.  At home we ate a late dinner and watched tv.  Read to the boys and tucked them in bed.

The bright red sun in my foggy rear window made me think a cop was on my tail with his lights on. The boys thought that was funny.  Made a bunch of mugs today.   It was another beautiful day. Took a walk in the woods with Wyatt.  Jacob had homework and Eli practiced his instrument.   Eli had his first soccer practice this evening.  Eli gets to be goalie for their first game.  Thats his favorite position. Talked to Grandma on the phone.  Found an empty field so kicked the ball around until Eli was done.  Jacob loves soccer so much now.  I wish we could have signed him up.  We weren't sure if he was going to have marching band practice.  Jacob drove home from the end of our road a couple times today and did great parking the van.  Jared made sure it wasn't so easy for him and parked on our road facing the ditch to start.

This morning Jared and I unloaded the kiln. The bottom of Peyton’s bowl exploded on my spoon rest. Today I made handles and trimmed mugs.  Then I waxed our pottery.  I finished attaching handles after getting home with the boys. Jacob worked on homework and then the boys played minecraft. After dinner we went outside and played soccer until it was too dark. Jacob and Adam won.  Gave Jared a haircut.

Adam soccer practice

 It was a beautiful day today.  I made some mugs and a vase on the wheel.  Took a walk in the woods this afternoon with Wyatt and we sat on the swing.  Jacob sent me a message that there was one Covid  case at the high school.  Soon I also got a message from the school.  Adam and Eli played minecraft when they got home from school. They now have their own minecraft server which they really enjoy working on together.   Jacob had a bunch of homework.  Adam had soccer practice from 5:30 to 6:45 this evening.  We all went and watched practice from the van.  Jacob brought his homework to work on it in the van.  Adam really enjoyed practice even with a mask on.  His coach is Pastor Scott.  Five of the boys on the team go to our church.  A couple girls were on his team last year.  At home we ate a late dinner and watched tv.
