We were up with Adam just after 7:00. All three boys were up even before the coffee was done. After breakfast we took our walk around the campground. Then Jared and I knitted and the boys played in the screen tent. At around 10:00 we went over to the fort to watch Battery D's artillery demonstration. Next was Dr Bandit's medical demonstration. The Dr brought me up to play the amputee's mom. I held the boys hand and said, “mother's here!” After lunch we went for a walk with Grandma and Grandpa on the trail by Pebble beach. We picked lots of blueberries. We stopped at the playground and then went over to the fort. We stayed to watch Dr Bandit’s elixir presentation. Then we went into town to visit Dennis and Leslie at the shop. Back at camp we started a fire and cook hot dogs for dinner. After dinner we took a walk. Wyatt got to play with another standard poodle named Samantha who is a service dog. Back at our site Wyatt came in my hammock and we took a little nap. Eli had fun bike riding around the campground with Dominic. We walked to the fort store and the boys got ice cream cones. Then we went to the fort to watch Battery D's cannon demonstration. Back at our site we sat by the fire and made smore's. Wyatt was on Grandma's lap.

Day 8
Trying for two smiles:)
Got it
We were up with Jacob and Adam by 7:00. Adam and I played a game of chess and then Jacob and I played checkers. Jacob, Adam, and I walked over to watch Battery D. Eli slept until 9:30. The boys found some firewood at an empty site. It was raining so after breakfast we took a walk with our umbrellas. The boys played with games in the screen tent. Grandma and Grandpa came over and we played a game of 3-13. Jared won. After lunch we walked over to see battery D at the fort. Then we went over to the fort playground. Adam and Eli played there while we walked around the east campground. We hung out at our site and Grandma came over to visit. Jared worked on chopping a big log and had pieces flying all over. After dinner Jacob and Adam rode their bikes over to the store and came back with some candy. We took a walk around the campground and then over to the fort. Eli brought his wallet so he could buy a pop at the store. Back at our site the boys played in the screen tent with the games. We sat by the fire and made smore's. Adam and Wyatt were in the hammock.

Day 7
Hiking to Hunter's Point
Jacob's tooth rock. He brought this one home.
Searching for agates
Wyatt's searching too, haha
Family selfie:)
We were up with Adam around 7am. It was a nice cool morning. Jared got the coffee percolating and then headed down to the bathroom. I noticed there was a fired under the percolater so I hurried to turn it down. I turned it off but the fire didn’t go down. Then I realized there was a box of matches burning. Grandma came over and we played a game of tonk. Eli woke up around 8:30. We saved Jacob's pancakes because he didn’t wake up until 11:30! We took our morning walk with the boys riding their scooters. The boys played games in the screen tent and Jared and I knitted. We took Grandpa some cookies from the Jampot for his birthday. After lunch we headed to Hunter's point. Daddy and the boys picked blueberries which were growing near the parking lot. We hiked out to the beach and spent some time looking for agates. It was nice and cool on the beach and very windy. After a while we continued hiking to the point. Adam went swimming in the shallow water. On our way back to camp we stopped at the shop to drop off the rocks we found for Leslie. Jacob and Eli spent some time organizing the rocks in their rock boxes. After dinner we went for a walk and then stopped to visit with Grandma and Grandpa. Adam broke his flip flop so I worked on sewing it with the speedy stitcher. Wyatt was sleeping so we left him with Grandma and Grandpa while we went back to start the fire. After a little while Grandma and Grandpa came over with Wyatt. Adam read in his hammock with Wyatt. Adam and Jacob played in the screen tent with the games.
