This is Daisy's lamb, named Grace.  She's calm and is usually laying somewhere looking peaceful.  She cries loudly when she looses her mom.

This is Eva's lamb, named Anna.  She's calm and LOVES to lay on her mom's back.

This is Wilma's lamb, named Millie after my Grandma (Dad's mom).  She's very skittish.

After dinner we played a game of 3-13.  Jacob didn’t play because he wanted to read his Michael Vey book.

Glazing pots

After church we went to the store for groceries.  We had pizza for lunch and watched Dragon training.  Nik came over for a couple hours and the boys played outside.  Jared and I got our pottery waxed and ready for glazing.  Adam and Eli built a tent on the deck.  This evening Jared and I glazed some pots.  We watched Dragon training and had popcorn pop and ice cream for dinner.

This little girl lamb is often laying on her mom's back

The boys watched some new episodes of Dragon training this morning and Jared went to town to get our Saturday goodies.  This afternoon we went to town to get some more books from the library and return some others.  Also stopped at the barber so Jacob could get a haircut.  Nik came over for an hour.  This evening we met my parents at Olive Garden and they treated us to dinner!  Eli said, "This is going to be really fun!  I'm gonna feel like a king with people serving me!"  Haha.  We had a really nice time and the food was yummy!  Thank you Mom and Dad!!  They came over afterwards and we had a nice visit.  And they got to see the new baby lambs too.  Nana and Papa gave the boys some surprises for valentines.  Adam and Eli had a lot of fun with the whistle lips.

Eva and her lambs

Daisy's lamb

Cotton candy beard

Jared came home from work early and we headed to the boys school for parent/teacher conferences with Eli's teacher.  Adam and Eli played on the playground until our meeting was done and Jacob read a book while waiting in the van.  At home Jared and I worked on cleaning the stalls used for lambing.  Daisy and Ewe #47 are out of the stalls and doing good.  Nik came over to play until dinner.  After dinner we headed to school for the carnival and Jacob stayed home. Eli and Adam had so much fun at the carnival but we all missed Jacob.  Adam bought Jacob a cotton candy and Eli brought him home a balloon.

Happy Birthday Jared!

Happy Valentines!

The sheep pushed the barn door open so we had to get a few sheep back in the barn.

Showing Daddy his school valentines

Daddy got ten 5 gallon buckets that were on his list.  He also got some m&m's, a set of channel locks, a dremel sharpening set and some dremel bits,  sponges and a sharpening stone for pottery.

Cake time

This morning the boys opened their valentines and we had the floating candles lite.  We sang to  Daddy before he had to leave for work.  After school I headed home and Jared got there not long after that.  He had picked up pizza and Pi's for us to warm up for dinner.  We went out to the barn and some sheep had gotten loose.   We let Fryne, Wilma and their babies out of their stall today.  We are still bottle feeding Grandpa but he is doing good.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods and the snow was deep.  It was a beautiful day outside today, 40's and sunny.  Steve came crying for us in the woods and Jared carried him. After getting Adam and Eli off the bus we went to get Jacob from Jazz band.  Adam and Daddy played "bed wars" on minecraft.  Jacob and I played a game of 3-13. We watched a When Calls the heat while eating dinner.  After dinner Jacob and I played a couple games of stratego.

Daisy had a girl lamb!

And Ewe #47 had boy/girl twins!

Eva's lambs

Fryne's lamb climbs into the hay feeder

I came home from work and hurried to the barn to check on the sheep.  I found that Daisy and Ewe #47 had just lambed.  Daisy had a single girl and the suffolk had boy/girl twins.  I got them into stalls and helped dry the lambs and got them taken care of.  I stripped the mom's and tubbed the lambs.  Got them some water with molasses and some hay.  After they were all taken care of I went inside for a little while.  When I came out both mom's had delivered their placenta's.  The new lambs were all nursing good.  Grandpa was crying so I went in and he was pushing on my leg for his bottle.  He ate quickly and is doing good.  Wilma's lamb has gained about a pound since we let her out of the corner yesterday so she's doing good.  Nik came over after school and the boys played in the snow.  Eli came in and built a little blanket tent.  He did his reading in his tent with a flashlight.  This evening Eli was writing us lots of cute notes.  He made a mailbox using a lunch bag and we sent notes back to him.  Eli and I played stratego and I won.  Then Adam and I played and Adam won.  Daddy and Adam played risk.  Jacob is re reading one of his library books.  Adam and Daddy played minecraft.  Then Jacob and Eli played on the computer.
