Eli had learned how to blow bubbles with his gum

I finished plying my yarn this morning. The van windows needed to be scrapped this morning and Jacob had them all done when I got out to the van.  Mom called after I got out of work to say she was heading to my house with my shoes.  Sue has the same shoes and had accidently taken mine on Thanksgiving.  I told Mom that I had Sue’s shoes with me and would meet her at Tim Horton’s.  We went in for coffee’s and muffin and had a nice visit.  Then we went to Salvation army and we both found a few things.  Mom took me back to my van and I headed to the school to get the boys.  After getting Jacob and Adam I went to get Eli.  Mr Blades (and Eli) forgot that he was parent pick up so he was getting on the bus.  When I went to find him he was walking to find me in the crowd of people and he was crying.  On our walk to the van Mr Blades told Eli that he could have just come home with him to clean toilets and kitty litter boxes.  From the school we headed to the library for books and dvd’s.  Then we went to walmart for a couple things.  Jared got home just after we did.  This evening I worked on packing.  We watched Andy Griffith while eating dinner.  Jared and I filled up the ram and ewe's hay feeders with a lot of hay.  We also filled the water tanks and plugged in the heaters.

Steve, Puffel, Clare, and Koala.
(Steve and Puffel belong to Adam, Clare is Jacob's, and Koala is to Eli's.)

The boys watched Andy Griffith this morning.  After church we went shopping.  Adam has been wanting to get the kitten's collars for awhile and they were on sale today.  The kittens are getting bigger and the boys love them so much.  Sophie (the mom) and all four kittens are getting spayed/neutered in January.  We had pizza for lunch and watched Andy Griffith.  After lunch Adam and Eli went outside to build a blanket fort on the deck.  Jacob started working on his periodic table project.  Daddy, Adam and Eli played a game of 3-13.  Jared made some batts and I finished spinning Blanch’s wool. I started plying her wool this evening.  Nik came over to play and is going to watch our animals while we are in GA.  The boys are super excited about our GA trip.

Playing tonk

Papa is finishing Eli's 3-13 game with Jacob

Euchre

Adam and Jacob started playing a game of 3-13 with us but with all the people and lots of talking they didn't last for the entire game.

Playing war

Chuck and Sue are helping Melissa.

Yummy pie!

Adam asked Max to bring his trombone.  They played Hot cross buns and Jingle bells for us.

Being silly

Adam went with Jared this morning to get our Saturday morning goodies.  He loves giving Daddy direction to get home.  It takes a little longer but they always make it home.  I made a few batts to fill my basket with roving for spinning.  Jared finished spinning more of Blanch’s wool and has started plying it.  At around 10:30 we headed to my parents house to celebrate Thanksgiving.  We were the first to arrive.  I started knitting a mitten and Jacob and Eli played a game of tonk. Then they played 3-13.  We visited until it was time to start getting ready to eat.   Jared went outside to clean the gutters and Adam went out with him.  Papa took over for Eli in 3-13 so Eli could go play with Jack. Chuck and Sue arrived followed by Vikki and her family.  We ate around 2:30 and the food was all so yummy!  Thank you Mom!!!  It started snowing outside and the kids went out to play.  They were very excited about the snow.  They also had fun playing games and legos in the basement. We played card games and enjoyed visiting.  For desert we had chocolate and apple pies and ice cream.   After everyone had left Mom and I did some knitting.  Mocha jumped up in the chair with me.  Adam said this was the funnest time ever!  He loved stayed even after everyone else had left and says next year he want to do the same thing.

Today was a half day at school so I went into work right after dropping the boys off.  Adam came to say hi to me in the kitchen at the end of the day.  He and Jacob met me at the van and then we went to get Eli.  We went home for lunch and then went to Valvoline to get an oil change on the van.  We also went to Salvation army and Adam found himself a music stand and I found a nice mop.  Then we went to Michaels so Jacob could pick up some things for a science project.  His class is making the periodic table and his element is silver.  We went to Kohl because I had some Kohl's cash to spend and found a nice pair of pants for Jacob.  Stopped at the 5 below store to get Eli some new earbuds for school and then went to Walmart.  At home we watched Andy Griffith while eating dinner.  After dinner Adam and Eli each made an apple pie for my family's Thanksgiving tomorrow.  Then I gave the boys and Jared a haircut.

Surprise gift from Aunt Debbie!

Advent calendars!

When I arrived at work today they were just about to lock the doors for a lock down drill.  I made it to the kitchen in time to lock myself in the room with the other cooks.  Today we served turkey dinner to the kids.  I was on front register and also handed out pumpkin bars which most of them were very happy about.  After work I headed to my parents house.  Mom had picked up sandwiches from Arby's and she also made a yummy salad!  Thank you Mom!  After lunch we knitted and visited until she had to leave just before 3:00 to pick up Mel's kids from school.  Vikki came over after picking the kids up from school.  Papa gave the kids a bunch of candy.  Mom soon was back and we visited until it was time to head home.  Jared had gotten out of work early and got the kids off the bus. He made spaghetti for dinner and had it ready when I got home.  After dinner Jacob and I played 3-13.  I accidentally gave away three of wild cards!  Adam and Eli played with legos and Jared made some batts.

Setting up for Christmas

I got home from work around 1:30 and it was cold and rainy outside.  I did some spinning and then I worked on rearranging the living room so that we can fit the Christmas tree.  When the boys got home they worked on cleaning their bedroom.  Jacob also did a great job cleaning and organizing the closet.  Adam and Eli decided they wanted to dust too.  After Adam and Eli finished their homework they played minecraft.  Jacob and I finished a game of 3-13 and then Jacob played Tanki on the computer.  Adam and Eli helped Jared and I cut up apples to freeze for pies.  Then Adam decided he'd make an apple pie.   After dinner we listened to Christmas music and set up the Christmas tree.  We all had fun decorating. The boys went outside so they could see the tree and show it to their kitty's.
