We made a bunch of fire starters (for camping) from lint, paper egg cartons, and old crayons or candles. The boys had fun decorating the paper carton tops.

We've been looking into buying a bike rack and found a really nice one at the garage sale this morning. It was the same kind of rack that were were looking at and we saved over $100 - yay!  We also got a nice canoe hoist for only $5. This afternoon Jared hooked up the hoist so we are now able to store our canoe up and out of the way.

Jacob really wanted to buy a watch with some of the money he's been saving. He wanted one that had a timer and an alarm on it. This morning he got his new watch and was very excited about it.

Nik came over to play this afternoon and ended up spending the night.

We made popcorn and watched a movie this evening.

We have a small loft area above our tack room that Jared and I cleaned out this evening. We had so much stuff (mostly paper, boxes and wood) stored up there and now its practically empty. The boys were happy to get some neat posters, maps, notebooks, and a cool book. They played together in the tack room. Jared's yearbooks were up there so we brought those in the house. There was also a book that he'd filled out when he was Jacob's age. These books were fun too look through.
