Eli came to our bedroom during the night saying he didn't feel well and saying he was going to puke. We hurried to the bathroom and he puked in the toilet. Early this morning he woke up with horrible diarrhea and needed a shower. He had some more puking and diarrhea today and didn't eat much. I stayed home with the boys while Daddy went to town for our drinks/donuts. I worked on Jacob's birthday cake this morning. This afternoon Eli wanted to go outside. We let the 10 young chickens out for the first time. The boys played in the apple tree with their chickens. We picked up the brush/trees we'd cleared and hauled a couple trailers full to the burn pile. Adam got stung 5 or 6 times by a wasp. He just complained that his back was itchy. Eli took a nap in the office. Jared and I separated the ewes and lambs for weaning. They've been baaing loudly all evening. One more sleep and Jacob turns 8 year old!!!

Today we were able to go to the boys school for a picnic lunch. We picked up McDonald's on our way there. Jared meet us there around 11:00 to first eat with Adam. Adam was so happy to see that Daddy came too. He jumped at him for a huge hug. It was very cold outside today so they had the picnic inside. The tables were crowded so we sat on the steps. After eating we got to follow the kid outside to play. Then we went to Adam's classroom so Adam could show us around in there. Jacob came to Adam's classroom and surprised me from behind with a big hug. We said goodbye to Adam and followed Jacob back to the lunchroom. He was sitting by his new "best pal Ryan." This morning we dropped off cupcakes and Ryan told Jacob, "Your little brother looks just like you." After eating we went outside to the playground. Jacob ran around with Ryan. Every time he passed Eli he'd give him a hug or rub on the head.
Tonight we celebrated the boys birthdays with Nana and Papa. They had asked for a monster truck cake and really liked the cake.
Nana found these cool gift bags!
Adam fanned his candles out with his hands. He's so silly.
The boys sure had alot of fun playing with their new legos.

Adam sure enjoy his field trip today. He quickly asked if he could tell me about his day first so he could tell me about the play they saw.
This afternoon we made tie dye cupcakes for Jacob's class. Jacob decorated the frosted tops with sprinkles.
Jacob is reading his favorite line in this gingerbread book.

Tomorrow Adam is going on a field trip to the theater. He is going to see the play, Wizard of Oz. We watched the Wizard of Oz movie tonight.
Eli loves the tag on his blankey. He sometimes comes out after he's in bed saying, "I can't find my tag."

Taking a walk to the park.
The boys were great helpers with planting the garden.
Jacob said, "Aren't I so brave? I am so brave!" as he lets a spider crawl all over his arm.
We planted corn, peppers, carrots, onions, broccoli, pickles, pumpkins, and tomatoes. We also planted sunflower seeds out near the road.
The boys are holding their flower picks for our pots.
