Today we went out for our drinks/donuts and then stopped at the recycling center. As we were driving we saw a huge buck (8point) on the side of the road. We headed to my parents to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. Mom was gone taking a CPR class but she had everything going or ready to go. Jared and Dad played some pingpong while the boys played in the basement. Jacob watched Modern Marvels on the history channel. He's was really facinated with it and kept saying, "This is real!" Mel and her family and Vikki and her family arrived around noon. The food was really yummy - Thanks Mom! Jared always makes the mashed potatoes. I made a couple apple pies. Hailey and Jacob played house with their triplets. Adam pretended to be their dog and Eli was their child. In the basement they made a house under the pingpong table. Kenzie and I played fooseball. Then Max and I played. Hailey and I played pingpong. I brought some playdoh which the kids also had fun playing with. Kenzie and Uncle Jared played some pingpong and did some nice drawings. We took the kids outside to play for awhile. It was a really nice day spent together with family. Chuck and Sue came over this evening. It was Chucks birthday and Kenzie made him a cake. Eli loves playing in the basement and often begs to go down there. We got home around 9pm.

Today Adam sure enjoyed spending time outside with Papa. He got to ride with Papa on their John Deere lawn tractor. After shopping I helped my mom get things made for our early Thanksgiving tomorrow. Yesterday I got out the glass the boys have collected from our previous GA trips. Jacob and Adam washed them up so they look good.Today Jacob asked his teacher today if he could bring it in to show the class and she said yes. He's pretty excited about that. The boys talk about our trip to GA alot and are counting the sleeps til we leave! This evening they helped me make a couple apple pies for tomorrow.

When I take the dogs outside Eli always wants to help me hold the leash. He loves me reading to him (except at bedtime - he wants Daddy). After we'd finish a book he'd get off my lap and run over to the books saying, "book".  Jacob, Adam, Eli and I played "house" in the barn until Daddy got home from work. Jacob and Adam filled up the egg cartons with sand to sell to me. This evening Adam, Jacob and I played monopoly until dinnertime.The boys would make the sounds of their pieces (car and canon) as they moved them.
