Jacob caught these frogs

At the dog park
Adam noticed a tree frog above our doorway as we walked into the house. Adam and I were holding it and Eli stuck out his hand to hold it too. He loved when it jumped. This morning Eli went to the cupboards, reached for the cookies and asked, “A cookie?”

Eli loves this toy

Today Jacob wore yellow with the rest of his grade. Each grade wore a certain color. Adam asked, “Do I get to go to school this day?” When I said yes he ran to Jacob saying, “Jacob I get to go to school today!” The boys had about 5 minutes after getting ready to watch tv. Adam said that yesterday he got to write his name on the dry erase board. Eli likes to get a drink from the drinking fountain after we take Adam to his class. I got out the stacking toys for Eli to play with and he loved those. We went outside for awhile and I worked on cleaning the barn. I got out the play kitchen and toys for Eli to play with. I did some Wii boxing before it was time to go get Adam off the bus. While eating lunch we watched Mighty Machines. Eli took a nap. Adam helped me make snickerdoodle cookies. He loved mixing the ingredients and rolling the balls in the cinnamon. We went outside until it was time to get Jacob. Adam wanted to ride his bike down again and I pulled Eli in the wagon. Nik came over to play for a couple hours. Jacob’s friend from preschool,Carley, came over looking for Nik. We found out her Grandpa lives on our road. The boys hurried to hid in the apple tree when Jared got home from work. Daddy gave Adam a ride on the scooter. Jacob had soccer practice this evening so we ate dinner a little early. A plane kept flying over during practice and Eli really liked seeing it.

Eli  was up just before I had to wake Jacob and Adam. After the boys got ready and ate breakfast they had a little time to watch Mighty Machines. Eli held Adams hand all the way to the classroom. Adam wanted a hug and kiss from him before going into his class. He told Jacob this morning, “Jacob, I went to school two days and now its gonna be three!” At home I got out all the playskool vehicle toys for Eli to play with. He found a bug and brought it to me saying, “baa baa”. Then he went to the door and wanted to put it outside. I brought in the winter stuff so were ready for the cold weather. Eli got really tired and just wanted me to hold him. We watched Shaun the sheep and cuddled on the couch until lunchtime. He didn’t eat much for lunch.  On the drive down our road to get Adam off the bus Eli fell asleep. The last couple days Adam got off the bus and said, “All the kids and backpacks are gone!” He’s the last person off the bus. Adam said his job at school today was to water the plants. Eli continued sleeping as I tucked him in his peapod. After lunch Adam played some Wii Fit Plus. We went outside and played house in the hay loft. Just after 3:00 we woke Eli and walked down the road to meet Jacob. Adam rode his bike and Eli rode in the wagon. We brought Jacob's bike so he could ride back. Nik came over to play. The boys had so much fun playing in the sand and on the fort. Nik went home just before dinnertime.

This evening Jared took Jacob to the Cub scout's meeting. The boys and I spent the evening outside. Adam rode his bike in the driveway and I pulled Eli in the wagon. Then I raked a piled of leaves for the boys to play in. They had lots of fun. Jared said the meeting was really unorganized and turns out he is going to be the den leader. Jacob had fun and is looking forward to the next meeting.

Jacob was excited that it was raining out this morning because he’s been waiting for inside recess saying there are some really neat things to play with inside. Eli went down to his bathroom saying, “teeth” and reached for his toothbrush. He got really sleepy near lunchtime and would only eat a banana for lunch. Adam fell asleep on the bus again today.  Jared and I had overslept this morning so I didn’t get my exercises done. Adam and I watched Mighty Machines while I did my exercises. Eli napped until we woke him to go get Jacob. The boys played with Lincoln logs. Jacob and Adam have caterpillars in their bug cage which they like watching. Eli loves them too. After dinner we spent the evening outside. The boys had a great time playing in the puddle. Then climbed up in the tree and Eli was asking to go up too. He also really liked sitting on the low spot too. When Eli gets his snack or some lemonaid he says, “Yummy!” Jared trimmed some trees and the boys helped us haul the branches to the burn pile.
