Today is Wyatt's 4th birthday!  We sure love our smiley puppy!  Jacob was excited to get his new watch in the mail today.  I threw mugs on the wheel.  I took Jacob to school at 12:30.  Came home for a little while and then headed back to school to pick up Jacob.  He had a 2:30 dr appointment.  Jared picked Adam and Eli up from school.  After the appointment we stopped at Tropical smoothie to get Jacob a smoothie.  We went to my parents house after the appointment to visit.  Vikki and the kids were there too. Jared had dinner almost ready when we got home.  We gave Wyatt his birthday presents.  He got a rawhide and a soccer ball dog toy.  He loved them both!  Jacob practiced his instrument and we played bedwars.

We slept in until 9:00. The boys were watching tv.  We went to church online.  It was really cold in the house this morning and it was cold and windy outside.  We played some minecraft with Isaac.  Jared went to town to get pizza for lunch.  We left around 1:00 to head to Nana's house.  Vikki met us there.  Jacob was upstairs working on school work.  Mom had yummy muffins for us.  On the way home we stopped at Meijer for groceries.  Jacob went right to work on his essay.  Its due today at midnight.  The boys helped put away groceries.  Adam and Eli helped us move round bales.  We moved one in with the sheep and then  moved one for Bo, Oscar and Han.  Jacob finished his essay around 9:30.  He was glad to have it done.  We played some fun games of bedwars with Adam and Eli.  Had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched tv.

Playing bedwars

We unloaded and loaded the kiln this morning.  We lost three brown mugs because the kiln ran long (18 hrs!). The brown glaze ran onto the the shelf.  I'm glad we use kiln wash!  It was easy to pop the glaze off the shelf.  I worked on smoothing the bottom of all the new pottery.  It was snowing this morning.   The lambs are so fun to watch as they run around the paddock in a big group.  Some of the spoon rests wobbled a little so I got out the Dremel to fix them.  Wyatt thought I was getting out the clippers.  He tucked his tail and ran to hide behind Jacob's chair.  Haha.  I set up the table on the deck and took pottery pictures.  It was cold and my hands were freezing.  I wore one glove and took it off when I had to hold the mug for the picture.  After school the boys and I stopped at McDonalds.  We had so many coupons so we only had to pay $1.  Adam and Eli got quarter pounder's and Jacob got a crispy chicken sandwich.  We also got a couple fries and a drink.  It was so nice to download Etsy pictures from home and they went on so fast!  Jared helped me get pottery measurements.  We broiled burgers in the oven for dinner.  Jared realized we were low on ketsup so he ran to the dollar general down the road to get some.  I opened the oven to check on the burgers and there was a huge grease fire.  I closed it but opened it several times to try and save the burgers.  I couldn't get them out because the fire was huge when I opened the door.  One of the boys said to throw water on it but I'm glad I knew not to do that.  Soon Jared was home.  He opened the oven door and grabbed the pan with a towel.  He had to set it down because it burned the towel.  He got some new towels and quickly went outside with the burning pan.  The fire got bigger as he walked and I thought things were going to catch on fire.  That was crazy!

The boys slept in this morning until around 8:00.  Jared went to town for our Sat goodies.  We played some bedwars with Adam and Eli.  Jacob had an essay to work on so he worked in his bedroom.  Jared and I unloaded the kiln this afternoon.  Then I took pictures out on the deck.  Burr I was freezing.  It was cold and windy!  Isaac called me to remind me that we change our clocks tonights.  Jared got our taxes done.  Around 4:00 we headed to Bay city.  We met Nana on the way and she took Adam with her.  Jacob had clarinet lessons at 5:30.  We stopped at Tim Horton's for coffee before dropping him off.  I worked on downloading my pottery pictures. Daddy and Eli played pool on the phone.  After the lesson we headed to the Dow event center to drop off Jacob.  Thats where Nana Papa and Adam were for a concert and the hockey game.  We stopped to pick up Isaac to spent the night.  I got to meet Peyton's friend Lilly who is spending the night with her.  On the way home I asked Isaac if he wanted to stop somewhere like McDonalds or Taco Bell to eat.  He said, "No I'm alright."  Then I asked him if he wanted Subway and he said, "Oh I'd like that!"  He and Eli split a footlong turkey and bacon sub.  We also stopped at McDonalds for Shamrock shakes.  At home Isaac played his video of Peyton's choir concert. The boys played some minecraft and then watched some tv.  I measured and published pottery pictures.  We got to bed late.

Jacob's room

Cool lights

Jacob was awake when I got home from taking Eli to school.  He watched some tv and then we played a bedwars game.  Then he and I worked on hanging the strip lights in his bedroom.  We finished just before it was time to take him to school.  I had about an hour before I had to leave to get Adam.  Had to stop for gas on the way to get Jacob and Eli.  When Jared got home from work we started a game of 3-13.  Then Eli said he needed to find some branches for a project in class.  Jared went out to help him search for certain shaped branches.  We had pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner.  After dinner Adam asked if we wanted to played a game of 3-13 so we played  with him instead of finishing our game.  I won.  Adam came in second.  We played some Minecraft games with the boys.  Watched Funniest home videos before bed

Lenten Rose

Jacob was up early to work on school work.  Mom came over around 9:30.  She brought donuts and some candy for the boys.  We had a nice visit and watched some old videos.  Jacob, Nana and I played a game of 3-13 and I won.  Jacob had the high score of 93 and I was in the negatives.  In the last round he went out and stuck Nana with 52 points.  He still came in last by 1 point!  We took Jacob to school at 12:30 and ate lunch when we came back.  Melissa called and we talked to her on speaker phone.  We had Vikki on speaker phone too for awhile.  Adam came out a little late today.  He likes to talk to his friends after school and lost track of the time.  Eli was waiting outside with Conner when we got there.  Jacob came out quickly.  We went home and watched some more old movies.  Then we headed to Culvers.  Jacob rode with me and the other boys rode with Nana. Jared met us there after work. Nana treated us all - thank you Nana!!  It was yummy!!  The boys all rode with Daddy home.  They stooped at SVS vision for Jacob's new contacts on the way home.  I fed the animals and then walked over to check the Lenten Rose.   When Jared got home we loaded the kiln.  Then we got things ready to glaze pots.  Jared took Jacob and Adam to youth group and I started glazing. After we finished glazing we played some miencraft with the boys.

At the Dr's

Concert time!

Adam and Eli had a 8:10 Dr appointment this morning with Dr Thill in Saginaw.  Eli had to get 4 shots and Adam just got the flu shot.  Eli will be getting x-rays for scoliosis.  We stopped at McDonalds for shakes on our way back to school.  We took Eli to school and then Jared dropped me off at home.  He took Adam to school on his way to work.  Jacob had just woke up and was watching tv.  I measured and cut a piece of wood to go in the corner of Adam's room in front of his strip light. Jacob helped me get it put in place.  It wasn't an easy spot to get a hammer or drill in.  Then Jacob helped me get glazes out and I got them all stirred up.  Jared glazed his half when he got home from work.  This evening Eli had a band concert.  Nana and Papa came to the concert. It was great concert! Jacob was happy that the 7th grade band played, Clarinets, packing up early! He has great memories playing that song in 7th grade!  Adam stayed home.  We stopped at McDonalds and the boys got mcFlurries.

Eli's 6th grade concert

This last song has three parts

This is Jacob in 7th grade playing, Clarinets, packing up early.
