New lights in Adam's room

This morning Jared and I unloaded the kiln. We got a few inches of snow during the night and it continued snowing until this afternoon.  The trees looked so pretty.  I saw a bald eagle flying over our paddock this morning.  Then I saw one on the side of the road this afternoon.   Jacob is on spring break this week for Delta.  He went to school early to work on school work.  Today I waxed pots and glazed the insides of them.  Adam got the strip lights he ordered today so we worked on putting those up after school.  It was not easy in his small room.  I still need a piece of trim to hide the lights in the corner.  He  likes them alot.  We ate dinner late and then played some Minecraft with the boys.

Jacob and his best friends Ryan and Andrew

Jacob and Mackenzie have a clarinet duet in this song that you can hear starting around 41 seconds.

This song has two parts. Part 1

Part 2

Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  I went out to the barn to feed and noticed a little lamb laying down in the corner.  Usually the lambs get up and run around while their moms are eating.  I tried to get her up but she seemed to weak. Her mouth was cold.  I took her inside and Eli helped me try to warm her up but sadly she didn't make it.  She was one of Dob's (Eli's sheep) twins.  Jared said last night she was laying down in the creep feed and he took her out but didn't think much of it.  We're not sure what happened.   Maybe she had diarrhea that we didn't know about or she wasn't getting enough to eat from her mom.  She seemed ok but I guess she wasn't.  We played some bedwars with the boys.  Jacob had to be to school at 2:00 for band.  Jared cut some trim to go around the top of Adam's room because he is getting some strip lighting.  I painted the trim gray.  We left around 3:00 for Jacob's band festival concert.  The concert started at 3:50.  The concert was great and they got a perfect score.  Hailey's and her band from Valley Lutheran played today too.  They also scored a perfect score. We took Jacob to his clarinet lesson with Dale after the concert.  We talked to Grandma and Grandpa on the drive home.  We  made chicken tenders and fries and ate a late dinner.  Played some more bedwars with the boys.  Then we hung the trim in Adam's bedroom.  We loaded the kiln this evening.  Jacob and Adam helped haul the trays out to  the barn.

Eli and his group presenting at the culture fair.

Adam and friends at the arcade

This morning I trimmed my tumblers and honey pots.  I added knobs to the lids and then put lugs on the pots.  Jacob slept in until 11:00 when I woke him.  He stayed up late last night practicing his instrument.  He had to be to school at 12:30.  Jared met me at school for the culture fair.  Eli and his group presented on Costa Rica.  We listened to all the other groups presenting too.  Eli said he was so nervous that he said his hands were dripping sweat!  Haha.  You couldn't even tell he was nervous and you could hear him speak the best there.  Most of the kids looked down and read there cards but Eli looked up often and spoke loud and clear.  At home I quickly cut the pots to make a spot of the honey dippers.  The pots were getting dry.  Then I headed to Midland to pick up Adam and then over to Meridian to get Jacob and Eli. Jared was home when we got there and was working on setting up our new internet server.  Once it was up and running we got to try it out and we are very happy with how well it works.  Its a much faster internet!  We still are waiting for the part to attach it to the pole on our roof.  This evening Adam went to Sawyer's birthday party.  They went to the arcade in Bay City and then went back to Sawyer's house.  They had drinks and ate pizza.  They also had fun playing hide and seek.

3/3/22

Today I made tumblers and honey pots on the wheel.  When the boys got home from school Jacob and Adam played bedwars together.  Eli went in his room to read his new books and played with legos.  This evening Jacob went to his last pep band. We played bedwars with Adam and Eli.  I read with the boys and then tucked Eli in bed.  Adam went to bed after watching an I Love Lucy.  Jacob went in his room to practice his instrument.

Happy Birthday Eli!!!

Adam put these lego minifigures over his door.

Our 12 year old!!!

Eli got all the balloons to stick to the ceiling with the static from rubbing them on his head.

Trying to blow his candles out one at a time.

Sleeping on the floor in our bedroom.

Jacob sitting on the birthday boy.

The corn burner was not running this morning when we woke up so it was cold in the house.  Jared was working on it and shocked his chin, ouch!  At around 6:00 we woke up the birthday boy singing happy birthday.  He got ready and then came out to see his presents and cake.  He tried to guess what what in the presents while he waited for Jacob and Adam to get ready.  Wyatt wanted to see what was in Eli's presents too.  He liked when Eli threw him some balls of wraping paper.  Eli got a lego set, tripod, knife, strip lights, glow sticks, and some candy.  He got a call from Grandma and Uncle Eric and Nana this morning.  We played some bedwars before school.  Daddy got home from taking Jacob and Adam to school and we took Eli to school in the warm car.  Jared took the day off work today and we picked Eli up from school at around 9:45. He said his group in Mr Henderson's class wanted to sing Happy birthday to him but he told them not to. At home he started building his new lego set. After awhile he took a break and we played bedwars. Jared left at lunchtime to get a bucket of KFC chicken and nachos from taco bell for lunch. Eli had never had chicken from KFC but really wanted to try it. He liked it alot. Daddy also picked him up a mt dew pop. He worked on his lego set for the next few hours.  Jared left to pick up the boys from school. They went to McDonalds to get shamrock shakes and brought one home for Eli. Eli finished building his lego set and we hung his strip lights in his bedroom. Jacob and Adam played some bedwars together. Jacob drove into town with Daddy to get pizza and breadsticks for dinner. After eating Daddy took Adam and Jacob to youth group. While they were gone we played some bedwars with Eli. When they got home we sang to the birthday boy and had cake. Everyone had a piece of cake except Eli. He doesnt like cake.  And he was too full for a brownie or ice cream. Aunt Missy and the boys facetimed Eli to wish him a Happy birthday. Eli talked to Jack for probably an hour.  Jacob spent a long time practicing his instrument before bed.  Eli stayed up late and we played some more bedwars.  He made a bed on the floor in our bedroom to sleep tonight.  We had a fun day celebrating with our 12 year old!
